Wow, stuff like that is just SO frustrating when you're not going good. Gute gets picked off and CB walks. Instead of giving Grady an opportunity to sacrifice 2 in to scoring position it's runner on 1st, 1 out and the DP can end the inning.

Would it have been good for Sizemore to have bunted, moving Blake over and possibly getting to first?

G.D. it Gut.....how the hell do you get picked off of second?????
That cost us a run right there since Blake walked and Sizemore singled. Geez.

Well, luckily, Pronk decided to watch strike 3.

They've had plenty of men LOB this season. It's enough to drive you nuts.

Atleast Byrd looks somewhat better, velocity still down in low 80's.

Bobbled it, rushed his throw, skipped past Peralta.

Down by 1 but I feel like we've already lost given the way this team is hitting this year.

Atleast the Sox have a bunch of their backups in, Francona has to rest some guys since theyve been all over the Earth, literally.
Wakefield could implode at any second, its' not over yet, there's hope...JoeBlow can't come in.

Hate to say it but this bullpen is eerily reminiscent of the 2006 season (at this point). I think they can get it together but our bullpen has already cost us a handful of games and we're only 13 in. Looks like tonight could be another.
Major league hitters seem to have figured Perez out. He got hit around by Boston in the ALCS and has been terrible thus far. Hope he gets it together or we are screwed. It seems as though batters who make him throw a fastball (and don't chase the slider) hit him very well.

Well, another quality start down the drain. Hope the bats can respond or it will be another wasted outing.

Yeah, Perez certainly hasn't pitched like last year. But, the walks kill you. Make the team nickel and dime you, don't just give them bases.

Question, since I only heard it on the radio, but should Peralta have gotten to that base hit?

I have the same "gut" feeling, not only that but last season we lived and died on the 2 out hit.
If you look at the 2006 and 2007 team only 2 major diff's is the bullpen sucess and the RISP hitting.
Our offense lacks the punch of the Sox, or Yanks type, we have to get runs by walking and gettin key hits. Dunno, some say it's way to early to pas judgment. But nobody can be happy with whats been happening, and it does look too much like the 2006 version.

Jeter makes the play maybe, it was just hit in a great spot. Not Peralta's fault.

A better short stop probably atleast gets a glove on it and saves a run. It wasn't an easy play but Jhonny seemed to be a bit late picking up the ball. Not routine by any means but it was a play he could have made had he been a half step quicker.

Now THAT'S an at-bat! Fouled off, what, 8 pitches, then get a hit? Awesome.

Here's JhonnyP's chance to redeem himself a bit for that missed put out. 2 on and 2 out. We might not get another chance with a runner in scoring position.

It's tough enough to watch them right now, it adds to the frustration when listening to Matt Underwoods annoying voice and stupid sayings/slogans. Every baseball question he asks Rick Manning gets shot down because he's so clueless.
Atleast we are tied, and we still have a few more shots.

This is getting ugly.....
7 straight innings with RISP and only 1 hit. That's bad. Real bad.

Well, that's one way to demoralize. Give up a HR. The Indians should be up by about 10 right now with all the RISP. Instead, losing by one. Yeesh.
