I noticed that about Haywood too. You can't let another man do that to you. I don't blame Gibson.
I think it was pretty obvious that Stevenson took a full swing at LeBron. I don't even see how it is a doubt.
I also think the Wizards are nuts for thinking that LeBron has been a crybaby. He doesn't complain nearly as much as other superstars, such as Kobe. And besides, the refs would never allow Kobe to be hit the way LeBron has been hit in this series. I commend LeBron. For such a young guy, he sure has a level head on his shoulders.

I worry about LeBron getting cheapshotted next game.
Given the mental makeup of the Wizards especially this series, I can see a total mental breakdown where the Cavs destroy them.
Then, instead of acting with class, they'll go after LeBron. The sooner this series is over, the better because this is already out of control.

What scares me in that blog is that Windhorst mentioned that those who know Stevenson think he may continue to go head hunting at LB if we have control and are about to close them out.....
It really is a shame what a goon this guy is. IMO a guy like Stevenson helps urge the stupid argument that "all NBA players are thugs". As a big hoops fan, I can tell you the league is in great shape in terms of the young guys being good citizens (LB, Wade, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, Durant, etc.) Just sad that this clown has no respect....

Just saw a little clip of Lebron on the halftime show of the Mavs/Hornets game where he said that if it was a playground game then "things definitely would've escalated", but if hurting him is what they're trying to do, then whatever.

Heads will roll if Stevenson does anything even remotely dirty in game 5. If he hurt LeBron, I would guess there aren't enough body guards in the building to keep him from getting his head beat in.

The scary part is ... the instigator of that whole riot now plays for us.  
I can see it now ... Stevenson fouls Wallace with a hard cheapshot. Ben gets up shoves Stevenson in the chest. He tries to avoid the scuffle by laying down on the scores table while Lebron and Z hold back Big Ben. Vers, smelling the opportunity, chucks a glass of ice water onto Stevenson, and he charges into the stands to take on the fans. Haywood, is quick to follow. However, unlike Auburn hills ... innocent fans and security guards join forces with the unrulies, and proceed to beat the crap out of the two and toss them back out onto the floor.
This would almost be a huge, bitter rivalry if Washington had won a series from us in the past.

i don't think deshawn will be suspended for the game, but i wouldn't be surprised if someone (ben, andy, z, etc.) took it upon themselves to return the favor to this guy...
he's being outplayed, his team is being outplayed, and he's now resorting to cheap shots...
it's garbage basketball, i'm tired of hearing the whole "oh well back in the day"
no. back in the day means nothing, it's trash basketball, play some defense, shut your mouth, it worked for the spurs...
i think it would be best for all parties, that the cavs get a lead, build on it, and get lebron and co. on the bench, and the bench on the floor...

On a side note this evening, for those interested in something to flip over to during the Indians/Yanks, the Hawks look to win two straight from the Celtics..
If they win, it would knot the series at 2 games apiece. Going to be a tall order, but you never know since they are playing in Atlanta...
That game starts at 8pm eastern on TNT....

i don't know about 60, but i smell a big win...
i think this team has learned that when you have a chance to step on the throat of another team, especially at home, you take it to them...
remember our first go in the playoffs, we had that game 6 at the q, with a chance to shock the world, we barely lost, and got our clocks cleaned in the following game
the very next year, in that same exact position, we ran the pistons out of the q and out of cleveland...
the big key to doing so in the nba is defense and 3 point shooting, if you bring both of those, the other team will almost always fold
i really don't see washington being able to stay with the cavs, not only will we see defense and 3 point shooting, but i think we are going to create as many fastbreak opportunities, it always seems like a fastbreak that ends with a lebron slam fires everyone up

yeah, i just don't understand how you can do so much talking to a team that has knocked you out 2 straight years, and on their way to a 3rd straight
mike brown and his cavaliers are 11-3 against washington in the past 3 years

I laughed when I heard about that. Somehow DJ always seems to find his way into the fold.

All they can do it try and take out the best player on our team by targeting him with cheap shots b/c they can't do it the right way on the court. I know losing every year in the playoffs hurts and they cry in their cheerios every spring, but playing like that just shows how classless that team and organization is. I just wonder wtf the league is waiting for to step in. It's so obvious their game plan of dirty play.
