Big series right here. Gives us a chance to get to the .500 mark and beat a rival.

Yea, last time I said that I believe I got to keep my broom out but it was the Indians that got swept.

Best game of the year so far...
Byrd hung in their vs. a very tough lineup...
We were patient at the plate, made the yanks pay for walks....
We hit well in the clutch.... We got an insurance run to get the lead back to 2...
And, the bullpen was SOLID
Just a great game to watch as a fan....

Great job by the pen today again, and we did not have to use either of the raffys. It looks like Masa is starting to really settle in. Nice to see him pick up his first win as an Indian.
Gotta love Vic, guy is no doubt the glue to this team, both on the field and in the clubhouse. Best thing about him is that he leads by example...

Anyone know where Tom Hamilton went today? He was announcing the game, but I left the radio to check online for the Browns' picks. When I returned, Mike Hegan was doing the 9th inning, which never happens - Hamilton always does the 9th. Then, somebody named Jim Rosenhaus did the post-game, which is usually Tom's gig. Hope he's okay ...

Nice piece of managing there by Wedge. Let Laffey pitch his way out of a decision and in to a potential loss.  When the young guy gets you in to the 6th and he gets in trouble, GET HIM OUT BEFORE HE GIVES UP 3 RUNS. And with one out, and the bases loaded we don't walk a guy to set up the double play?
