My favorite track. I LOVE plate racing, especially at the track where running 4 wide is normal.

Gotta watch the Cavs first though.

However, I just noticed on nascar.com for those that are interested--all of their premium features are free today.......scanners, raceview, pitcommand, the whole enchilada.

I'm listening to Gordon's scanner now and they are already talking about keeping an eye on the weather.

Can anyone tell me how Hornish moved from 37th to 7th, and is now running in 36th 2 laps down?

Wow you called that right So much stuff went on in those last few laps that I am not sure who to blame, or feel sorry for.

that accident was a mess...

someone caught too much draft and it looked like tony got wobbly, i couldnt tell if anyone tagged him though, but then Labonte's 43 got tagged and that triggered it all.

Poor Marty...he had a pretty decent car all day, him and Menard and they just couldnt get away from Labonte coming down the track. bummer.
The 1 car looked so good all race. But plate racing just isnt kind to Truex.

That last accident was a mess too...I dont remember what started it all, but im pretty upset that Montoya wrecked Menard, he was running his best race of pretty much ever.

I dont like that they freeze the field when the yellow comes out during the last lap, they should make them race it out. I understand the potential for problems, but, i think they do a good enough job of safety that they could make it work.

If there was a way for the cars ahead of the wreck to do it, we would had one helluva finish. Montoya probably would have wrecked Kyle.

It was such a big CF at the end that I dont know WTH happened. Pretty much the whole field got jumbled around by the 2 big wrecks.

He was caught in the first big one.

It was a miracle he finished 10th.

just out of curiosity...what is all the big endearment to Junior?

I dont dislike him, but, I've never understood why he is so revered. Is it because we all watched him grow up with his dad, and that he is kinda almost like everyone's little brother?

or what is it?

He's got a broad personality that caters to many audiences...

-You have the old school Dale Sr. fans who latched onto him as a driver to follow.
-You have the young crowd who took to the whole Budweiser image.
-He comes off as very down to earth no matter how much money he makes, which is something you rarely see out of athletes anymore.
-There are others who are impressed by the continuing evolution of his personality as he matures.
-He's provided many thrills over the years...2001 Pepsi 400 comes to mind.
-Plus, the guy can flat out drive a racecar.

I agree with what Ammo said. I even liked JR more after he tried to run me down in the parking lot at Michigan.

Yeah , he just can't seem to find his way to victory lane . One person who knows his way there is Kyle Bush ...now that boy can flat out drive a racecar.

Kenseth had another bad outing and it seems as this year may be shaping up to be a down year for him. I was glad to see that Stewart didn't finish the race though but I was disappointed to not hear him whine in his post race interview.

thats fair. I just feel like everyone's thought that he's better than he is. I could be eating those words with how well he's performed this year. But he really just reminds me of a Mark Martin. A likeable guy who just wont get it done.

but, I've nothing against him, im a little sad he left DEI though, I was really beginning to warm up to him, but now its like he's gone to the Dark Side. But, if Martin Truex Jr went there (and I'm hoping he wont) I wouldnt love him any less. So I see it. plus Teresa is miserable.

I dont dislike him though, I do like how down to earth he is.

but thanks for the answer, i can appreciate him.
