Who got the game? I just picked it up and its a blast. I just wish I did not have to study for finals this week or I'll be playing it non-stop.

Just rented it last night but have not played it yet. That's my plan for tonight. My 3-year old has been bugging me to use the wheel and she wants to see Mario! Hopefully she will let me have a turn!!!

I'm surprised, either I'm reaping the benefits of living in a small town or they really mass produced this game. I walked into Wal Mart tonight and they had at least 30 copies just sitting out. Hopefully I'll get to play this sucker in about 2 weeks, lol

The guy at Game Stop told me they got 60 copies and they were all reserved. Walmart doesn't reserve, so it doesn't surprise me they had them.

So how do you do the hop turns? I haven't been able to figure that out yet. Also I don't like the battle mode anymore  . It used to be fun with a large group because it was last man standing. Now it's just most points after a certain amount of time...I don't even see the purpose of the balloons anymore since you come back to life after your three are gone. I also rarely get good weapons now. I'm sick of bananas.

Did you figure out the hop turns, Con? I'm not sure what you mean unless it's when you hop before sliding in to a drift.

Did you buy the game new?? You can probably find a printable copy online... So, in order to hop, you have to be in "manual" mode instead of automatic. You use the B button to hop. So...press B at the same time you turn the wheel into your slide. I think.

I picked up a copy the other day. Still as fun as i remember it Michelle is correct with the hopping to start your drift. Either B (trigger) when in nunchuck mode, or "2" when in wheel mode. But, you have to be in manual mode. Plus, in order to win in the 150cc mode, you have to learn to drift or else it becomes impossible to win. Remember, the longer amount of time you drift around a corner, the bigger the boost!

MAn! I'm so jealous. I can't get the Wii to connect to my Wi-Fi. It recognizes/detects my network but for some reason just won't connect.
anyone have any advice?

I just got the game last week and have only played it like twice, just been really busy. I really like the game, but right now I suck. I do have it hooked up to Wifi, so I will get my code posted on here in the next couple days....

It's worth it! It's a bit of a learning curve from the old one but I've got it down pretty good now. I've beaten the game and yet it's still a blast. Now I'm working my way through mirror mode, I've gotten golds on the first half of levels, now to work on the next half. Hopefully I'll get the WiFi soon, I've just been extremely busy w/ moving. Quick question since I don't have the time to look it up, do you have to pay for the online service for the Wii or do you just buy the WiFi add-on and just go?

It's free and there's no add on to buy for wifi. Wifi is built into the Wii.

Now I need to go out and get a Wii! John and I got to try one this past weekend and LOVED it! Looks like we'll also need to get Mario Kart.
