Since the wii fit has come out I've noticed more wiis in stock around here, hopefully you can find one easily in you're area.

I have not been on mario kart for awhile, I try to get on today to get my code.

It's free and there's no add on to buy for wifi. Wifi is built into the Wii.

Well in that case, I'll have to try getting it set up then sometime in the next few days...I hate temporary moves . Being in between leases sucks, but it will be worth it to move into a house

It gets easier, although not much. I hated that one to begin with. It's that Wario Mine thing that kills me. I spend more time being picked up by the little crane than racing.

I agree with you there Jules. My wife and I cannot stand that track.

edit.

I guess we don't hate it, It is just that we still have issues not going off roading and that track punishes you unmercilessly for the smallest little but you go off raod. Stupid cliffs.

You guys have to add our codes I listed above before we can compete in anything. We have a tourney going...try it out after you add us. Then try to beat our times under time trials. Good luck.

Still moving out and looking for a new place. My temp. place doesn't have wireless yet since my other roommate took my wireless router on accident. It was his modem and he had his parents come to grab his stuff since his new job started immediately. They accidentally grabbed them both so I'm just waiting for him to ship it back to me.

Damn....I was talking to this girl about Wii this weekend, and she convinced me to get one. We were talking about the Tiger Woods golf game, and how fun that is. Now I read this thread. Even more excited. I kinda wish it was winter now. Will be hard to play in the summer.

Good call on the stimulus check - although I haven't gotten mine yet. Got the note that says its coming though.

Oh, you'll find a few minutes here and there to play during the summer.

Speaking of MK...Jules has started getting mirror races online but hasn't even opened the mirror class after 150cc. Strange.

I've beaten the game and yet it's still a blast.

The thing about this game is it's pretty hard to beat it completely. You go for gold and a three star rating in every cup and every cc. You unlock all characters, karts and bikes. You unlock and beat all the Expert Staff Ghost times in Time Trial mode. You win all the VS. and battle modes. You can also go for top times against real people in WiFi racing.

There's just a TON to do in this game. I've unlocked all my peeps and vehicles and around 20 expert staff ghosts. I've got gold and at least one star in all cups and cc's, working on mirror mode stars. And, I'm STILL trying to figure out "manual" mode...I always slide the wrong damned way so I play in automatic.

This is a VERY fun game, IMO, and I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I have. It's worth every penny you pay for it if you really play it and get into it.

Check out the Tournament on WiFi...it's a new Mushroom Gorge track.

Dang Michelle! And I thought I was getting good...

I finally got gold on every series for all four cups, and just filled in with stars on all the 50cc. I still hav SO MANY characters to unlock!

But Rainbow Road is not that hard. That's one of the few races I can reliably count on for 1st place. The key in that one is to not oversteer and to not be afraid to let off the gas. The latter goes for Moonlight Highway or whatever its called, too.

So do people still play online? My moving date is set for the 15th of this month so you should be able to start actually seeing me on there sometime after that

Jules is playing online more than I am at the moment. I'm busy trying to get stars. But, if you let us know when you'll be on, we'll be there!

So Michelle, you motivated me to rent this game and I love it! I'll be buying it soon. I only have one problem. I have no idea how to get online with the Wii even though my computer uses wireless internet. Any help?

When I connected mine to the internet I followed the steps in the user manual. Did you try that and it didn't work?

Forgot I changed internet providers since I bought the Wii; so that was the issue. Sadly, I have to return the game

It's a lot of fun but so frustrating! lol.

I'm considering buying it; the only reason I wouldn't is because it stresses me out lol.

Ugh, just started moving into the house today and it's not wired for cable so it might take them a little bit before they can send someone out.. It was horribly wired previously for satellite. The person who ran it must not have cared because it is a mess and there is about 20' of slack in the front yard before it ever enters the house. I'm confused by it though. The wires all come into the house as the male ends. There isn't enough slack in them to hook up to a box...is the standard for satellite? I don't think I've ever seen male hookups throughout the house before.

Ok I'm still relatively new to the board (read as: I've been registered but never seem to have time to post, between work and school and just being generally exhausted) but since I just got Mario Kart Wii (finally I was the one to get the last copy for once!!) I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get involved and actually get racing with more people (and getting my butt kicked)

Soooo in case anyone wants to find and/or add me,my code is 2578-4509-3754

Don't kick the newbie's butt too badly....please?

This landing is gonna get pretty interesting.
