I love that little popcorn guy... almost more than the pickle....
Shotty's just jealous of me. He lets his anger out in the wrong way sometimes.

Where has this Arroyo been all season? His command, selection, and change of speed is how he needs to pitch every game this season on. Hopefully he finally gets it together, then you bring up Bailey when hes ready for Belisle and you're lookin at a pretty good rotation. Now about our scoring...

Not good...........I seen where he got injured after breaking the bat trying to hit that pitch!

I sure did not realize that the injury was that bad!

That really sucks...he has been hitting everything close to the strike zone...and hitting it well!

I step away from the tube for a while when the Reds are having a good game...and find out some crappy news!

NOT GOOD! :thumbsdown

The good thing, we do have a lot of young talent...hate to see Keppinger out for any amount of time!

Really bad news. As much as they've struggled at the plate losing your best hitter is very bad.

This really hurts us. It'll be interesting to see what we do. One possible option would be to move Phillips to Short and put Freel at Second. I don't like that very much though.

Alright.

Bring up Jay Bruce already!

Corey Patterson SUCKS!! Keppinger is done, start freel in place of Kep and move Patterson to utility fielder, bring Bruce up and let your future get his AB's. He has nothing lef tot prove at AAA. Votto and Bruce are the future, Votto is doing alright, he needs to cut down his K/BB rate but he looks good for a rook. Trade Griffey, keep Dunn.

Bring Homer Bailey back. Get Cueto and Volquez on a STRICT pitch count, do the same with Bailey and build for next year. The reds aren't going anywhere this year with Patterson and Dunn in the lineup together. Probably hitting a combined .200.

Future is Bright in cinci

Bruce
Votto
Encarnocion
Dunn
Phillips

Volquez
Bailey
Cueto
Coco Cordero

That's a NICE core of young players. Trade Griffey, maybe Dunn ( I don't think it can get done) and get some more prospects and suddenly the Reds can win their division...next year.

I agree with most of that. However, you only have an interest because you just picked Bruce up in fantasy.

Time to bring both guys up, (Homer and Bruce). I think Votto looks great for his start.

Hopefully Griffey and Dunn will both be gone for next year. They are tying up way too much payroll for their production. They won't get much in return except some much needed cash to fill in some of the holes on the team. I hope Griffey gets to go back to Seattle, he'd be happy and so would their fans.

That's doubtful. They called up Janish from AAA, my guess is Hairston a good bit of the time and maybe some looks at this kid.

I also traded for him in my keeper league right before Yahoo started hyping him.

It is the same situation with Ian Stewart in Colorado, he has nothing to prove at AAA but Garret Atkins is playing well, unlike Patterson.

Funny, we can't beat the Pirates but have taken 3 in a row from the Marlins. I'm not complaining I just don't understand this team

im hoping this team is finally turning the corner, but now the bullpen is looking like a problem. 6 runs in the 9th is unacceptable.

Arroyo has looked very good his past couple starts, but hes done it against younger talent, with little patience. Once he can start doing it to experienced guys will make me a believer.

Dunn hit a homer but so what. Like usual it was a solo shot. He was 1-3 with a HR, BB, and SO. Typical Dunn (besides the 1-3; a .207 avg is pitiful)

We need to start doing what we did tonight to teams within the division. But we won't get that chance for at least another week. The Indians come to town after the fish leave.

Belisle goes tomorrow. Hopefully we get some offense; we'll most likely need it.

yeah, david ross batted before corey patterson. he ended up getting out then the mets complained he was out of turn. it took like 10 minutes but they finally decided to call just patterson out and let ross bat again...where he got a hit.

It didnt matter, cincy was down by 6 or 7 in the top of the 9th. and unlike our bullpen they dont give up 6 runs in the 9th inning

What a game last night. I was so angry when they gave up that big lead, and then a guy in his very first major league game wins it! I couldn't stay mad after that.

Bronson has looked good in his last two starts.

Unfortunately, Belisle tonight. Say goodbye to the four game sweep.

While it is Belisle, we are going up against a pitcher with an ERA of 6.52

The bad news...he's a lefty

Game has been rained out tonight and rescheduled for August. I'll make a bold prediction and say the Reds take two of three from the Tribe this weekend

That's going out on quite a limb with the way the Tribe's rotation has been dominating over the last couple weeks but the Reds usually play fairly well against them...I guess it's not impossible.
