I copied the same thing from the last page to post here but this one was even slower so I used it instead. Most of the time this just zipps along very well. This is about the fourth time though that this has happened. Two or three page changes in a row will take forever, then everything returns to normal. I've never noticed it anywhere but on here. I'm on SBC DSL Broadband Pro package. Any idea what causes this? There is this computer and an xbox on an inexpensive wireless router. Currently the xbox is off. I'm assuming it's my service but don't know.

I can't even guess at what it might be.... I can't replicate it.
If I can get it to happen here, then I might have something to look into.

I understand ziltch about the web. I'm assuming something is slowing things down from my end. Maybe a process being a hog or something.

either some process slowing it down or the dsl just 'hiccupping' would be my guess.
