It's been a while since we've talked about this, and we have some noobs.

I know some here are pretty self explainitory... so maybe say why you picked it... what would you like to change it to if you could... or explain some sn's you have/have had in places other than dt... or just talk about silly or clever ones you've seen.

Mine is shortened from the old board, OrangeNBlk. Because I like the Bengals and you're all jealous. I use OnB pretty much everywhere now.

On myspace I use LB, CzechChick, or Dr. Scrubby Brush.... which came from an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond.

Ammo is my real life nickname. Not cuz I play with guns (cuz I don't) but cuz it's a pun of my last name.

Other variations are Super Ammo (football coach gave that one to me), God Dammo, and Slammo.

"a rose by any other name".....the yearly name thread.

Hel....first 3 letters of my last name, I'm of German heritage, but will hold off on the rest of the last name.

Only reason I mention it is that people have referred to me as Held for the last 9 years.

And often people think it's because of the H E Double Hockey Sticks but yet again no.

A tribute to my dad.

He earned the nickname as a coach and player of a City League Champ basketball team of the same name. He was about 20 then and has always been athletically active despite two pins in his left leg that prevent him from bending his knee. The pins were the result of Polio.

My dad also maintained the nickname by a lifestyle that let's just say was vivacious and a tad wild. It's a reputation that he has tried to live down as he got older, but it's also a reputation that deserves recognition for his tenacity and successful attempt to walk the right path.

Umm...I love the Browns. I guess I can't really explain it any better......except for the fact that now I'm apparently attractive to former judges.

Well, since I get asked this a lot, my original screen name is concor. Ironically, I think it was Atomic that gave me this name. It was a mix between what I do for a living and things I've made in photoshop years ago.

Thus, it's a play on words...and it kind of a part of what I do. Never judge a book upon first glance because things always have deeper meanings.

What does my screen name mean?

You know ..... I'm just really not sure ........

Couldn't think of a screen while I was working on some chemistry, looked down, and poof! I had a screen name.

I didn't change it when I switched boards, mainly because I was too lazy and this one was already habit.

DefiantGray....tactical callsign of the mighty U.S. Navy cruiser, USS Vicksburg, which i served on for 5 years. Best ship in the fleet.

USS Vicksburg named after the Civil War battle of Vicksburg which lasted for several days hence...DefiantGray for those Rebs. Also, it fits me cause i refuse to get old and gray plus its a cool Xbox screen name

Born in '79. Rest is self-explanatory. I came up with it just off the top of my head. If I were to change it, I'd probably change it to "tabspanglerdawg" or perhaps "barley hufnagel", which is the name I use on junk mail things.

Tiffin is a town about 1hr 30 min west of cleveland. It is where I have lived most of my life. Other screen names I use are owensdad20, I was 20 when owen was born, reddawg, this was my first name on the old board cause I have red hair, and redace, because I always use ace for my name in video games.

Us Willard boys use to come over to Tiffin to visit your drive-in -movies just north of town, Dont know if it's still there but they use to show the best movies back in the late 70's early 80's

Mine's not really that creative. Cleveland Browns fan, and #19 was my hero!

Hmmm.... well, I think you can figure out where Kardiac came from. And 12 was my number when I played. I've often thought about changing my screen name to something far more obscure and perplexing but this is the one that everyone knows me as.

haha, I always thought it broke down as "Daman" (possibly a first name) and "Shot"

I thought it might have been some sort of gamers name you've had for some time.

Mine is a nickname I had all through my baseball career 10? because very rarely can people pronounce right off the bat so they always called me Fletch, which is still a bit off. When the movie came out everyone called me it, I don't think any of my friends called me by my real name from that point on. Now it's changed people call me by my first name now but when I take a trip back in time and talk to my old buddies it's still Fletch to them.

I remember his explanation from the last time we had a thread like this.

Daman, doesn't your license plate say Damanshot, too? I could also be on drugs, one of the two.

LOL No, it doesn't! on my regular daily driver (1998 Blazer) it's just something they picked at random off the pile.

My wifes new Trailblazer has vanity plates relating to her love of gambling..

And My Z has vanity plates that relate more to the car than me.

Well then who the heck has a license plate that is the same as their screen name? Am I losing it? Has the whole world gone crazy?
