Better at what?

Getting babes? Bond
Utilizing outstanding gadgets? Bond
Using his charisma and smarts to accomplish the goal and make the world safer? Bond
Being a general badass? Definitely Bourne.

How many movies feature Bond, how many featured Bourne?

Who was first?

Nuff said.

Bourne. Bond movies are entertaining but they are SOOOO boiler plate... Bond sent on mission, Bond meets beautiful babe who is either his ally or his nemisis, Bond given new tricky weapons and fast production car to show off for advertising purposes, Bond saves world from imminent destruction by latest "global domination weapon", Bond sleeps with beautiful babe. Like I said, they are entertaining but hardly suspensful... and Bond is solely dependent on Q and Moneypenny. Bourne survives on his own...

The Nameless Englishman in the Day of the Jackal....for sheer planning in a time when all this hightech stuff wasn't available makes Bond and Bourne look like schoolboys.

JB is way better. Bourne by a MILE. He is on his own with no fancy gadgets. He rarely uses a gun. Bond is more showy but Bourne would beat him every day of the week.

Jason Bourne is a Bond knock-off. Furthermore, he's an assassin, not a spy. So comparing them in the arena of who is more BA is pretty ridiculous.

Considering the fact that Bond is both a longer running brand, and the quintessential hollywood spy---he is tops.

Using that logic, you would be a Steeler's fan.

How many Super Bowls featured the Steelers? How many featured the Browns?

Who was first?

As you can see you logic is flawed.....as usual.

If you like Bond better, thats cool. To each his own, but your your definition of why is just ridiculous.

Jason Bourne kicks ass. He don't need fancy crap, he kicks ass on his own.

That movie trilogy rocks.

also, you must have a sub-poll of which Bond you are talking about, some prefer Connery, some prefer Roger Moore, etc

Bourne and Bond are nothing alike.

Bourne is a no nonsense badass. He doesn't look for trouble, but he handles it. There is no useless flirting and pretty girls to get in the way. Just nonstop American action. Cars with missles? Please.

Besides, Bond is a spy, Bourne, an assasin. Not just that, an assasin who found God, (figuratively) and has turned against those in his government that are truely rogue.

To top it all off, I own all the Bourne movies on dvd. If I picked Bond over Bourne, I would be broke.

Connery will always be the best Bond no matter who comes along.

And for the poll it's got to go to Bond, he's classic and basically invented the whole spy movie genre. Besides he also coined, "Bond, James Bond, and Vodka Martini shaken, not stirred.

Bourne, Jason Bourne, are you kidding me?

Another reason I picked Bond is because I have all his movies so I may be biased.

Bond and Bourne are different. Like said before, Bond is a spy, Bourne an assassin.

Bond has all kinds of fancy gadgets. If that's your game, then I can see how you'd like Bond. But for a general badass, it's not even close. Bourne would leave Bond in a puddle of blood. Or just break his neck. Then there's no blood.

I love in the Bourne Supremacy when Abbot says to Landy:

"He knows you're after him. And in the interest of self-preservation, you might want to start with that."

Classic.

Bourne would totally demolish Bond. It's not even close.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...
