How many current NFL'ers and ex-NFL'ers can you name that came from "inner city" Cleveland.....

I thought of
DE Gary Jeter... Cleveland Central Catholic/USC/Ny Giants

WR Anthony Hancock..John Hay High(played RB) U of Tennessee/KC Chiefs

WR Tim McGee...high school? U of Tennessee/Cincinnati Bengals.

not inner city but Lee Evans and Chris Chambers went to Bedford Hgths.

just had to comment...

was just reading the thread titles in the forum and I saw this one "Troy Smith and Ted Ginn made me ponder this" and then right below it was "Does Beer Go Bad?".

After the results of the game last night, I found that quite humorous, hehe

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

What exactly do you mean by " inner city" Cleveland ? Do you just mean the city of Cleveland or are you trying to say " the hood". I mean I live in the City of Cleveland but I wouldnt call WestPArk the " inner city". Also do you mean grew up here or went to High School at a public school? There are a lot of players that grew up in Cleveland but maybe went to a private school in a suburb .

London Fletcher is from the City of Cleveland( I believe he went to St Joes)

exactly when I think inner city schools i think, Shaw & MLK places like that.. Iggy's and Ed's arent realy inner city schools to me, IMO private tuition based schools maybe in the city, but they arent inner city

The best prep players from this area would have to be Reggie White and John Hannah.

Reggie McKinzie wasn't bad.

Well Eds is in Lakewood but is like 5 minutes from the border of Cleveland. St iggys is definetly in the " inner city". Actually Shaw isnt in Cleveland either.

This is kind of why i was asking for clarification on what he was asking.

All the Bios I find on him say he was born in Cleveland, Ohio but doesnt say where he grew up. For some reason i was thinking it was a Eastern Burb.
