There are 3 ways for congress and the president to get legislation beyond a judicial review of the supreme court. 1) Rewrite the bill 2) Wait till the makeup of the court changes. Whats number 3? How can congress and prez defeat judicial review?

I'm not sure I ever really heard of there being 3 ways. Maybe I'm just misinformed.

But, I guess you could always do what Ohio did and just plain ignore the Supreme Court ruling. Way we fund schools is unconstitutional as judged by the Court? Oh well, we'll just leave it that way.

But, that's an interesting question, and I'm curious to see what the answer is.

Amend the Constitution itself. Then, instead of reviewing the law to determine its constitutional standing, judges must interpret the law when they are asked to decide disputes involving it.

No, some congressman from Kentucky tried to get a 2/3rd vote by both houses override law passed but I don't think it went very far...

No, I was referring to the amend the constitution part, which I think is 3/4 majority vote.

You can amend the Constitution.

Congress can also limit the court's jurisdiction to hear certain claims as well.
