Tiger bogeys the par 3 8th, Rocco pars. So, Tiger is winning by 1.

612 yd, Par 5 - 9th is on deck... ya just know Tiger is going to try to get there in 2. I do believe he bombed at least one for 340yds this week.

Ya gotta love Rocco's outlook on this. He reminds me of the type of guy you golf with every week, just one of the guys.

He's the kind of guy who if Tiger would crank one straight down the middle for 340, Rocco would walk up and just say "Jesus Tiger! What the hell am I supposed to do now!" and just laugh.

If I tried to load that on my work computer, I'd be watching the first hole in 5 second intervals for the next 6 weeks.

Ouch, Rocco 3 puts from 20 feet on the par 5 ninth, down 2.

Rocco got one stroke back, now only down by 2 going into the 12th.

He's going to get one or more back on 12. Tiger choking?

He is struggling with his control though... but I think you're gonna have that with a bum leg.

Rocco's putter is one of Tiger's best friends right now.

Rocco could easily be up by 2 right now at least.

Woods only leading by 1 heading to the par 5 13th.

Nah, they both have the inconsistencies going... Tiger's are off the tee and Rocco's are on the green. They both have blown enough shots that they could both have a significant lead over the other.

The entire difference right now is that Tiger managed to hold it all together for precisely one hole more to get himself that 2nd Birdie and Rocco hasn't.

I think we're also seeing the effect of a 5th day of play has on these guys. Yeah, they're pros, but usually, they're not in this situation. These last few holes will be pretty interesting as we may see some shots out of these guys we wouldn't normally see (inconsistent, etc.)

Really? I lost my video feed and the audio is making it sound like Rocco's missed some gimme's.

Well, Tiger has a 2-hole bogey streak going and he finds himself on the rough off the tee on 13 (while Rocco is in the fairway). This is going to be a big hole in deciding this title.

I just see this as being Tiger's choke tournament. He had the lead going into Sunday and lost after two holes. Maybe it's his knee or maybe it's just Rocco's time. I don't see Tiger winning today.

and now Rocco is in the trap and Tiger is on the green in two, putting for Eagle.... it's a marathon, not a sprint



...and before Tiger got his back-to-back bogeys, Rocco did the same thing.

My question is this:

Why haven't either of these guys hit a tree or played essentially an entire hole from another fairway? I mean, isn't that a necessary part of golf?

I topped a ball so badly once that it back-spun and jumped vertically and hit me in the nose.

I once hit the same tree on different weekends and the ricochets nearly killed me both times. And this was the same hole earlier in the season I clocked some random dude in the back of the head on another tee from about 225 on the fly (he was very bloody - ouch!). So I almost killed three people on that hole (2 of them being me).

I played that course (Ottawa Park in Toledo) 4 more times before moving back to Cleveland and skipped that hole each time. That hole is evil (#15).

All Even with only 4 holes to go... who thinks they're gonna tie and we're going to have a Playoff for the Playoff?

ha ha, if that happened they should put a keg at each tee box. You have to kill a pitcher before your tee shot.

What happened?

Rocco hit his second within 20ft. Tiger was in the bunker and shaped a draw within 10ft. Just a stupid video game type of shot. But just missed his birdie putt after Rocco made his birdie putt. Rocco up 1.

Tiger's inner voice: "Who does this guy think he is, me?"

I'm telling ya.....Tiger is gonna lose.

The 15th hole is going to be the deciding hole. Tiger misses an 8-footer for bird and Rocco hits his 15-footer.

Well, one hole left with Mediate ahead by 1. What a playoff! My hat's off to both these guys, no matter how it ends!

Tiger's in the fairway on 18, Rocco's in the bunker. Tiger's looking eagle here, guarenteed.

Either way it's a great win and history.

If Tiger wins, it is #14 and he is now just one season's worth of Majors away from tying Jack

If Rocco wins, well, a helluva nice guy wins, and the oldest player ever wins in a duel, and upset, for the ages.
