I always liked the Hulk comics and the old TV series. I was excited before the first part was going to get released, and then I saw it and almost fell off my chair when I saw how ridiculously huge he appeared. I was hoping that they would make him physically smaller for the second part - which I don't think they did.
He looks like 3 freaking Ogers put into 1.

This wasn't the 2nd part. This movie had nothing to do with the first movie from 5 years ago. This was a total reboot of the franchise since the original was so poorly received.
I never saw the first one but those who saw both said The Incredible Hulk runs circles around Hulk.
For me? I thought it was ok, but Iron Man destroyed it. I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea, I wasn't blown away like I was for Iron Man and will be for The Dark Knight.

I haven't seen it, and probably will wait until it comes out on DVD or HBO. The previews make him look overly huge and animated, just like the first movie. What I found in the first movie is that at times he was 8-10' tall at others he was 15'. They couldn't seem to keep consistent on his size. And I still want to know why when Banner turns into the Hulk, every bit of clothing rips and falls off, except his pants magically expand.

1st one was horrible.. I was hoping they would have used an actual person (Golberg, Triple H, etc) as the Hulk instead of CGI, it maybe just me but I loved it when Ferigno would rip the shirt off. I just think making Hulk so big, is it in some preview where the army guy says 1500 pounds? C'mon.. I will wait until it is out on DVD...

They explained it in the movie, stretchy pants.

Just responding to whoever talked about the Hulk's size. He is SUPPOSED to be as tall as he is in both movies, not the size of Lou Ferigno (sp?). But the height did seem to fluctuate in the first one, which was stupid. Kind of like most of that movie. I'm hearing good things about this new one.

From Marvels Home page Height 5' 9½" (Banner); 6'6" (gray Hulk); 7' – 8' (green/savage Hulk); 7'6" (green/Professor Hulk) Weight 128 lbs. (Banner); 900 lbs. (gray Hulk); 1,040 – 1,400 lbs. (green/savage Hulk); 1,150 lbs. (green/Professor Hulk) 7'-8'... In the first movie he often appeared to be 10-15' tall.

Yeah but, most stretch pants can't stretch from a 36" waist to a 100" waist.

I found a place out near me for $4 before 5pm. I don't know how they stay in business, but for now, i'll enjoy it. As for the movie, I thought it was a lot better then the first one, although it was not fantastic. Worth four bucks, not too much more.

I don't think I'll see the newest one unless reviews here and online are very good. The first one was just amazingly bad. I can't believe how bad it was. Ugh...I would rather wear a Steelers jersey for 2 hours than watch that junk again.
I have yet to see Iron Man. The wife and I don't get too many opportunities to hit the theater when little girly popped out in November. We've been to two movies since (Juno and Indiana Jones). I'll probably see the new Batman next (that looks to be the best super hero movie ever - and I'm a connoisseur on super hero movies).

Saw it... I give it a C+ @ best... Wouldn't pay full price... Matinee,yes... Good actors and effects... Weak Avengers/S.H.E.I.L.D. tie in at movies end... IRON MAN shredded TIH... This movie, TIH was better than the Hulk... Niether was as good as the Batman's or Daredevil... IMO. Collected as a kid in the 60's and early 70's... Collected with my son through the 90's... Interested to see where the Avengers series goes...

so, it'd be waste of my bandwidth to even steal it then.... Thank You for the advance warning. I'll return the favor... stay as far away as you can from Semi-Pro with Will Ferrell.... it is easily as bad as what you just described.

I have gone to ONE movie in the last ten years. I wait for them to come out on pay-per-view for 4.99 or I wait a few months longer and watch them on HBO, Starz, Showtime, Skin-o-max, or TMC.

Yea, I could see HHH doing Thor and pulling it off. I think I heard about a Thor movie in the works. I'll have to check into and report back later.

Won't be long til we find out who plays Thor. The Thor movie comes out in 2010. My vote goes to Kyle Turley. Starting w/ Iron-Man & The Hulk. Marvel is making a run of solo hero movies that will culminate w/ all of them together in The Avengers movie. 2010: Iron-Man II and Thor hit. 2011: Captain American and The Avengers hit. Thor will look silly if he's not actually back in ancient Norse times. More like a Braveheart movie than a modern comic movie. The less time he's flying around in modern times, the better. Of course he will eventually have to in The Avengers. The only way to do Captain America is to start out in a WWII setting w/ him kicking the crap out of Nazis. Then have the whole frozen and thawed out in modern times story. Can you imagine Spielberg directing??? Man I am such a geek . . .

You and everybody else in the world says it sucks. I'm not one to rely on critics, but when the vast majority says it's bad, I tend to believe it's bad. And, of course, my wife still insists on seeing it this weekend.

I thought they explained that too. The more angry he gets, the bigger/stronger he gets. So the more he gets the crap kicked out of him, the angrier he gets, the harder he is to beat.
There are no sacred cows.
