Last year 12 of us had a "keeper league" that permited everyone to keep "up to eight players" from last years teams.
Everyone did not use their screen names for their teams, so I do not remember everyone who was in it. But here is a list of last years teams..........................

Oh.. by the way...
As it stands right now, the deadline to set your keepers is after the draft. I think you need to have it set for before the draft.

You changed the 2009 keepers deadline date.
the 2008 keepers is still set for September 3rd.

It doesnt mess it up if we can get a new owner to take on his team before the set keepers deadline. If we dont, and his players go into the draft, then that team is not gonna be competitive for years.

I'll take his team if there's still an opening. Been wanting to join a keeper league for a few years now, never had the opportunity.

The draft will be August 24, 2008 6:45 PM ETPlease notify me if you will be or will not be in the league so we can hopefully fill missing teams.( if you haven't already ) If I can not fill missing teams, I will reformat the divisions in order to work with the number of teams we have and all players from defunct teams will go back into the draft. Just use the link I provided above. I have not deleted or changed any teams. So if you were in last year, your name, team name and players are still in tact.

Giba has taken Brownie Points team.
I still haven't heard one way or the other from several owners. So I'm not sure of their status. Today, I will give out e-mail invites using the addresses from last year.
Hopefully I'll get more responses. But any way it goes, I can reformat the divisions to accommidate the teams that do continue.

BTW- Yes, you can keep "less" than eight, but not more than eight.
All players we drop, go back into the draft pool along with those players that weren't drafted last year and the rookies.

I got it and tried to register, but they were doing some maintenance on fantasy football evidently. I'll try again tomorrow.

Glad to know that you got everything registered. And bignasty is on deck if anyone else drops out.
Let me rephrase that. bignasty is next if anyone drops out that "notifies me" they are doing it. It shows everyone as "registered". But that is from last year. If somebody drops out without notifying me, I won't know until their team is dumped back into the draft. At that point, it would be too late.

It gives me the option of setting it manualy, but once I select that setting, I don't see any options to set the order.
I will "try my best" to set it in reverse order to last year's finish ( much the same format as the NFL ), but if I don't see an option to line the teams up in "reverse order", I will let their software set the draft order randomly.
So I'll try everything I can think of to set it up like the NFL, but so far, no luck. I'll keep everyone posted on this............
