I picked reds. I love my Rosemont Shiraz. And just like with my Rolling Rock, nobody else touches the stuff!

If by some chance I'm doing white, I'll go for a Chardonay typically... usually Turning Leaf.

My special treat is if I make it up to Versailles, Ohio I'll stop in to the winery and get a bottle of Red Rodeo... very sweet and tasty (this one I have to hide)

Red only for me. I won't drink white even if it's the only thing offered. And, I like a bottle between $11-$20, usually. Maybe cheaper stuff if I plan on opening a second bottle, or better stuff for special occasions.

Been on a Zin and Pinot Noir kick lately. Going with the Ravenswood old vine zinfindel (~$12) and a few Pinot Noirs (Cloudline ~$21 and Hob Nob ~$11).

Not a wine drinker. Don't really care for them.

How 'bout another beer thread?

You mean cherry Kool Aid?

That's the stuff. I'm really picky about my Kool Aid; it has to be the type you add sugar to, not the type that already has sugar in it, and you add a tiny bit more sugar than you are supposed to. Tiny being about 1/6th of the second cup.

Because she's a wine snob and doesn't like boxed wine.

Actually, I don't either, although some true winos swear by the stuff.

I drink about two quarts a day of cherry Kool Aid. I drink it with Splenda instead of sugar since I found out I was diabetic.

I never liked drinking wine.

Red......pinning a price is hard to do but I said $11-$21 as that is typical of my everyday drinking wine, though I have spent considerably more many times. I just bought a case of Malbec for just over $450.....but I don't typically drink those without a special reason like having guests over for dinner or going over for dinner .... something like that

BIG, BIG red fan (not Reds fan Jules)! I prefer Pinot Noir, Chianti, Syrah/Shiraz and red Zinfandels. Merlot's are ok from time to time. I'm not one of those Sideways clones that scream, "I'm not FREAKING drinking Merlot!"

I don't really like white wines. I've tried a bunch and they just taste flat to me. Like they're missing something important....flavor. I've gone on some serious wine tasting tours and most white wines give me nothing.

As far as price goes, anything under $20 is alright by me. I might go over if I'm at a wine tasting and demands I take some home.

I enjoy both red and white.

As for price like Peen said it can vary greatly. Lately I have been enjoying Charles Shaw. Very cheap and much better than I would have thought. I have had much more expensive wines that weren't nearly as good.

My wife's aunt had us sample a bottle (or a couple of bottles) a couple of weeks ago without telling us what it was. I was very surprised to find out it was only $2.99 a bottle. I know some wine snobs that wouldn't even try it if they knew the cost. My wife being one of them. Now that she has had it we went out and bought a couple of cases.

Then you don't know much about wine. There are plenty of very good tasting wines at a reasonable price.

I've spent $30 and I couldn't tell the difference from a $12 bottle. I've also spent $16, left the bottle at someone's house and they drank it. Told me it was really good.

Ewww, wouldn't drink anything named Raven. That's like drinking Steelers white.

I get funny about things like that. At work last night, I saw some woman at work with new shoes on. They had yellow striping with some black in it. I told her she'll have to find a new pair of shoes for work tomorrow.

I knew someone would say it......

You're missing out though if you won't imbibe in something just based upon it's name...

That's different.....that's a color scheme. I *LOL* at anyone with yellow or purple on their shoes....

I only drink Cab, and its almost always around $15-20 bucks a bottle from the store. I am not entirely sold on one brand, so I dabble in different ones..

I do tend to go out for a bottle every now and then. Reason being, there are 2 lounge type places in walking distance that have half price bottle nights twice a week...

It wasn't cheap stuff, I know that much.

It was probably a riesling Ammo. Robert Mondavi makes a good, relatively inexpensive (~$8-9) riesling. Good with the ladies.

My wife drinks two types from what I have observed-- what is in the bottle or what is in her glass. Kindly woman who doesn't play favorites. Riesling and Amontillado for her; Foch and Cabernet Sauvignon for me.

Cabernet Sauvignon. Found a brand called 14 Hands and it's REALLY GOOD and only $10 a bottle, it's an awesome deal.

Did you ever see the two most expensive bottles of wine they have at Bern's in FL?

They were bottled in the 1700's around the time of the Rev. War/Constitution and I think they're worth upwards of $6,000.
