NCAA is all I play. I was gonna wait a couple weeks for '09, but my wife surprised me with a copy last night. Hands down, the greatest football video game ever made. -PS3 version.
I played 5 games online last night. I'm 4-1 and ranked in the 800's.
Incredible, Incredible, game.

I had a terrible experience with XBox Live tech support last night, if I could sell my Xbox and games and such for the right price I may switch to the dark side.

Sorry to hear that man. PS3 online is consistent. There are usually about 160 NCAA players online at once, last night there was over 3,000 players, and I had no problem getting 5 games in. How do you like the game itself?

I only got a chance to play one game (i was talking to XBox Live tech support and Time Warner cable & internet tech support last night for over 3 hours, terrible night)
But the one game I did play was great, got all the rosters named and started my season, the running seems more difficult this year, but more realistic as well, you need to be patient and let the Linemen open the holes to burst through, I am about to pop it in right now...

I loved last years version also. 2009 is much, much, better. I have never seen such clear graphics. -It borders on looking like a live football game. I absolutely love it.

Really? Maybe it's just me but I thought it looked just like a carbon copy of last year's game, which is not a bad thing by any means.

I disagree. 2009 makes last years version look like a cartoon. Graphics are much, much, better this year.

Man, i just played a game online...
2 punt returns for TD, 2 INT returns for TD, 1 kick return for TD, I got smoked.
Seems to easy to run left to right and lose the defenders, not cool.

I heard that there was a lot of buggy issues when editing the rosters. Is that true?

Editing rosters bug will have a patch released in 5 days. They have already identified the problem and are currently testing it. This bug affects 359 and ps3.

I agree. I am only on game 3 but even the wife commented on how great it looks! Plus the tackling to me thus far is very realistic. I do like all the little extras you can do in this one too. I'm loving it!
And Madden is coming out next month,,man I may not leave my couch

i've seen footage of the new madden, and it looks way better...
these last few versions have seemed very generic and not well prepared...
you can jump into the stands after a score now, which is awesome...
and i think they brought in real announcers, i heard collinsworth's name on some footage i saw last week...
that radio guy was awful

Has anyone tried the Wii version yet? I know that the graphics are not on par with the Xbox360 and PS3 but from what I have seen this game seems pretty goofy compared to the others.
Play as mascots instead of the actual players, etc. I dont see that it has the dynasty features and so on of the other systems. Anyone know for sure?
Signing Steinbach - $49.5 million Signing Lewis - $5 million Drafting Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn - millions more Restoring the Browns to champions - priceless.

I just got this for the Wii on my B-Day. I am debating whether or not to open it. My Bro-In-Law has it as well so I think I may go play it there before I make a decision.

Played it on the Wii and it's a normal NCAA game. The mascot and all that are additional features.

As was said, it's just like the other versions of the game. I got the game about a week ago and have played it several times. The Dynasty feature is there, although I haven't used it yet. Don't know where you got the Mascot thing other than Sparty on the cover.
Sparty's on the cover for the Wii, McFadden is on the cover for the 360, Matt Ryan for the PS3, DeSean Jackson for the PS2, and Owen Schmitt for the PSP.
I wasn't expecting anything spectactular graphics wise knowing the limits of the Wii. I would equate the graphics to that of the earlier console versions. The Wii is the only next-gen console I have, so I'm basing my comparison off of the 2007 Xbox version.
The Controls for the game are what makes a difference. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk are both required for gameplay. The joystick on the Nunchuk is used for running. Hiking the ball, Kicking, and what used to be the hitstick is all done by a flick of the Wii Remote. Passing is done by pressing a direction on the d-pad or the a button and flicking the Wii Remote at one of three different speeds. I haven't quite gotten the speeds done yet and this has lead to severly underthrowing the ball to several open WR's resulting in mostly INT's.
I like the game so far. The controls take some getting used to. The All-Play feature helps out with this. It explains everthing pretty well during the game to help out novice players.
I can't really figure out the passing quite yet and would appreciate any help I can get from anybody on here that has worked it out.

I just got this game this weekend and I like it so far. What I like best is that my brother is still in the fan screenshots for Idaho! They also had the actual school letterhead for our school paper (The Argonaut) ... and the Kibbie Dome looked very much like the Kibbie Dome ... great attention to detail for the #119th ranked school! Campus Legend mode is still fun as well. I love the fact that you get to play the state playoffs in the begining! Although, you don't get to adjust your stats like you could in the version 2 years ago. During the week training is a tad tedious, but it's still fun! Dynasty mode is crazy now for recruiting. Now you actually have to make the phone call and find out the kind of things your targets like. If you talk to long, they get ticked at you, yikes! Might take awhile to figure dynasty mode out.
