Have a question for those who have it as i do. For the last couple of years i have also had Superfan which allows me to watch games in HD when available.
Does anyone know if all games will be shown in HD this year and if so do you still need the Superfan package to watch them or will they be part of the regular NFL Sunday Ticket package?

This doesn't answer your question, but I'm not getting it this year. I only really wanted it to watch the Browns and well.. they are on national television about 6 times guaranteed, they will probably have a few more televised, especially if they are in the division lead at the end... so I'm not paying the money for the remaining 6-8 games...

Well like you thats the reason i get it to watch the Brown's. Having said that i do enjoy watching other games of my choice when the Brown's have already aired. Plus i would lose my discount if i cancell this year then re-up next year.

I didn't get high definition until the week after the superbowl last year. My friend claims that they get high-def with just the standard NFL ticket. I'm not sure if the know what they are talking about, so I'm just going to wait until the regular season I guess to decide if I get SuperFan.

I saw a few early season games in HD last year (standard NFL ticket) but that was about it.

i'm in the same boat as you, i was ready to switch from comcast to directv, soley for the purpose of being able to get the ticket...
and then i was told the nfl sunday ticket was 300 (with an option to get it at 260 if you sign up before august 1)
rip off.
and like you said the browns are guaranteed a 3 monday night games, 1 sunday night game, and a thursday night, on top of flex scheduling, as well as it just flat out being shown in the chicago area (happened 3 or 4 times last year)
it's not worth it...
i really wish they would come up with a system where you could buy just your team's games at a cheaper rate, but again this is the nfl, and they don't really care...

We have 5 Prime Time games where we will be the only game going. On top of that, we have 4 Nationally Covered 4 o'clock games.
That is 9 of our 16 games that will be seen by everyone, in HD.... plus all of our Pre-Season should be as well.
Additionally, as long as we don't tank.... you can bet that we WON'T be the CBS bottom of the barrel crew and the only one not in HD... although I thought ALL games were supposed to be in HD this year.
For late season Flex Scheduling, you can almost bet that the Indy game will get moved to later or Prime Time as long as we're still strong in the hunt.... and probably a few more. Of our 7 1:00pm games, only 2 occur in the first half of the season. The other 5 are in the last 8 games... the first of those 5 being in Week12 - and those are the games that can get moved.
I'd skip signing up for it right now... get it later on if you need to, but is it worth that money for only a maximum benefit of 7 games.... and a likely benefit of a few less?
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Oh any game that's not on.. I'll either be at my neighbors house, who gets the ticket or I'll be at the Browns Backers Club... and in there somewhere I'm going to try to get to Cleveland for a game, just haven't decided which one... I'll see all 19 games next year, I guarantee it... and I'll see the preseason as well, even if it's on NFL network after the fact.

I am not getting sunday ticket either for hte same reasons. The nationally televised games, plus I'll be in Cleveland for 1-2 of the games. As ppe mentioned, if we are going strong we will likely be on a few more times. However, I did get ripped off with the Thursday game against the Broncos. Being in Colorado I would have got to see the Broncos game if it was on a Sunday.

Actually, I'm expecting to hear back from a lawyer tomorrow about it.
