Just curious how everyone would respond here:

I'm making this 2 separate questions. The answers to both questions may be the same, but not necessarily.

1. Who do you think is your team's biggest rival(s) and why?

2. Which team(s) do you hate (disrespect might be a better word) the most and why?

I'll respond first:

Biggest rivals for the Steelers:

1. Browns - historical rivalry, and I guess because I live near Cleveland
2. Patriots - too many losses to them in the playoffs <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Team I hate the most:

Ravens - Art Modell <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> (need I say more?)

Biggest rivals? Ravens and Patriots I'd say.

1. Steelers

Teams I hate the most, Ravens hands down.

Biggest rivals: Probably the Steelers although, the lack of winning has diminished it.

Most hated: Bengals. Because of their moronic, obnoxious, delusional, bandwagon fans.

Most hated: Ravens and then Bengls
Biggest Rivals: Steelers, of course... but I don't hate them as much as I respect them.

My hated teams;

Rats Squeelers and Bungles in that order.

Ipswich Town (Norwich City's main rivals.)

On a personal level when i used to play football back home, i detested a team called Whiteheads. Local derby for us (AC Pontymister) and they never booked a ref which meant one of their own would officiate...........and you thought the superbowl refs were biased. <img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> Man i hated being jobbed....and insult to injury, they happen to be the team we were playing when i tore my ACL. <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> In true form it was a cup game and their first team didn't have a game (their 3rd team was in our league) so they played all their first teamers against us.....man even typing this get's me going <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I'd say i hate Whiteheads more than any team in the world. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Biggest Rival....the Steelers

Biggest rivals: Steelers
Team I hate the most: Cincinnati. I hate their moron fans that come out of the closet after 15 years of losing.

Biggest Rival: Steelers but I don't hate them as much as I respect them.

Most Hated: Ravens. I HATE everything about them, including the way they stole a championship, but hey, at least they didn't kill Vince Lombardi!

Funny how all the browns fans r saying steelers as the rivals...but the only steeler fan has the rats and a team that isn't even in the division....the pats...heh

I hate the steelers....

Biggest Rivals: The Ravens. They are the only other AFC North team to win a Super Bowl and they are a tough, defensive-minded running team like the Steelers. The other 2 AFC North teams are soft and deserve pity, but they are not rivals.

Team I hate the most: The Browns. I live an hour away from Cleveland, and have been surrounded by Browns fans my entire life. There are no worse fans in sports than Browns fans. On a side note, even though I hate the Ravens as division rivals and a team that beats us up sometimes, I always root for them once the Steelers are eliminated. For those of you in Pittsburgh, you just can't understand how nice it is to see the misery on the faces of everyone around me when they see Art Modell holding the Lombardi Trophy. Seeing Cleveland fans unhappy is the second best thing in sports behind seeing the Steelers win a Super Bowl.

Seems neither of us can get a definitive advantage (especially at home field) over the other lately..

The Clowns...They are no good, haven't been any good yet their fans say they will be good every year. They predict some unknown hack is gonna be a legend every year (see Qasim Mitchell, Ben Gay, Jerome Harrison, etc;).They somehow think that a bunch of second and third rate players are gonna magically pull it together every year and make some sort of run. (with the exception of a run at a top 5 draft pick) I just don't see it happening..No need to respect them..

Steelers, Ravens and Bengals.

Ratbirds coz they're pretentious phoney thieves (actually, all bird teams are awful).

Steelers because it's right and fitting to hate your neighbour and it'll just be so great when we finally thump them.

Closer to home: (rugby league)

Steelers biggest rival.

I respect the Steelers as an organization, I hate the Ravens and respect nothing about them. I also dislike the Bengals very much, but not as much as the other two.

I guess I'll throw this out here but I am curious to the answer(s) that I get...Is it the organization, team, players and coach that you don't like about the Ravens or is it the FORMER owner that you despise???? I guess with the goings on here in Baltimore, I must be in the minority when it comes to the hatred or disgust in what has happened to some NFL cities namely Cleveland, Baltimore, Houston, Los Angeles, Oakland (twice) and St. Louis. I was upset with the move of the Browns from Cleveland and never approved of it from the get go. I blame the league for allowing that to happen and I am not upset with Indy for having the Colts team. It's more of the "Darth Vader" like approach that the owners have over cities, states and their fans...JMHO

I don't think we have a "rival" right now. I know a lot of Browns fans think it's the Steelers, but a rivalry is supposed to work BOTH ways.

Biggest Rival--will always be the Squeelers(Not that I like them either)

Team(s) I vomit on--The Bungles and Ratbirds....The Bungles mostly due to the fact that they have one(1) winning season..(and it was not this year either..although every Bungle fan said this was their SB year.. <img src="/images/graemlins/rofl.gif" alt="" />)..in almost 2 decades and they seem to believe that their team is on the fast-track to being a contender..I'll agree to a point..they are on a fast-track..to heading back to their rightful place.."The Basement"!! Their so-called fan base are that of the most delusional,uninformed hillbillies this side of Pittspuke West Virginia.
As for the Ratbirds..we as Browns fans know all we need to know and why this team is one of,if not the most hated team...Go to Hell Modell!!

Obviously you have the Bengals confused with the other team with orange helmets...The ones who have occuppied that particular basment for 4 straight years now and I'm betting it'll be 5 after next year..

I am a Brown's fan thru and thru...I love the team's history, past achievements and most players.

I also hate the Brown's recent history, their dubious past achievements and several players.

I respect the terrific Steeler's organization and last 30 year history of achievements but I will always consider them talented enemies. In short I am one Pa. native who hates their guts and the fans of Pittsburgh mostly especially.

The Ratbirds are our biggest rival and will be until Baltimore loses it's franchise to some west coast location.

No confusion on my part..I knew exactly what team I was talking about..the one that had owned the basement for nearly 2 deacdes..hell,that may even an all-time record.I really don't know who is funnier..CurlySue or MadWoman..they are both Bungle fans...so it's a toss up. Again I say to you CurlySue..when your team has any kind of a championship to boast about..and believe it or not..one winning season does not make that as such..then you can talk smack..until then..you look like the uninformed,delusional hiilbillies from this side of Pittspuke,West Virginia that I spoke of in a prior post.
