Hey all -

My wife is buying me tickets for the Steelers game on 9/14 for my birthday. My question is this... How far up do you have to sit so the players on the sideline do not block your view?

I am looking at tickets in Sec 109 and they are in row 8. I just wanted to make sure I do not have an obstructed view..

Sweet Bday present your wife is getting you, as far as blocked views from the sideline stuff is concerned , I dont know, but you can see the view from your seat on the Browns homepage under tickets/seating guide, my season tix are up in the nosebleeds and the only thing obstructing my view is an occasional blimp flying by!
p.s. "Go early and stay late".....That's just my personell motto going to games

Thanks... I am psyched as I live in NE PA so we try and get out to CBS every few years.. Last time was to see Browns/Eagles (Garcia/TO), even though we lost it was awesome..

I checked the site view but it shows the vew from about 3/4 of the way up in the section. The seats look great but just do not want to pay $275 a ticket and not see anything..

Well even the first row is up like 6-7' off the field, so seeing over the players should be no issue, except if the play is right on the sideline by the bench, but then, almost no one can see much there without the TV cameras.

Me thinks you already knew the answer before posting....You just wanted to brag.

Happy birthday, and enjoy those seats!

Those are awesome seats! My Grandpa has seats in Sec. 109 Row 9,seats 1-4 and when I sat there you could see everything real good. Plus you could hear the sideline phone ring even and the players. They were the best seats I have ever had! He is pushing 90 now though and sells them every year to a broker or something. It irritates me to no end b/c the 50 yard line if it kept going would go right thru my seat. They are terrific!

Your wife is pretty coool, those are killer seats!

I was thinking the same thing. She is too nice and a bit too cute in the face to be taken seriously as a heckler.

LOL! It was more just yelling "Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooose, you're a fat azz" along with a couple of other guys. Mind you, these are the same guys I needed to educate about who Randall Cunningham was...he was on the Ravens at the time - 2001. They said "who's this Cunningham guy?" I said "Are you serious? It's Randall Cunningham, been around the league for YEARS!!!!" Then they tried to play it off as though they knew who he was by saying "o yeah, he played for the Giants, that's right" "No, he played for the Eagles, not the Giants" I said.

But it was funny yelling at Siragusa and being a teacher of football!

I sit on the 45 a few times a year in row two. The players don't block the view but the TV cameras can be a massive pain the the neck. They have a little motorized lift and put themselves where they want to be and don't care who it blocks. They can sit right in your line of sight for long periods.

I'd recomend considering carefully before dropping the big bucks.

You need to be about 20 rows up to be above all of that....at least from my experience in my seats at UF...I am in row 23 on the 30. That places me just above the sideline cameras.

You shouldn't have a problem seeing. In fact, those are probably awesome seats.

The closest seats I've had were in 136 around halfway up, and I can't see you having any problems a little lower down. Wish I could get seats like that again, but looking for seats in that area, they are going for more than what I bought them for in 2001.
