From about 12:00 am to 1:00 am i couldn't get on, search kept timing out. Had no problems with any other websites though.

I was getting on, then you click on a forum and nothing.....then the site wouldn't come up at all.
Then I had the strangest thing happen. I was on the board, clicked a forum, and it just sat there....so I got up and left the room. I walked in and noticed my screen looked strange. As I got closer, I noticed a crapload of windows opened up, scattered all over the screen with the DawgTalkers address in it, with all black screens, and a prompt in the center warning me about a program downloading and asking me if I wanted to continue. I immediately shut it down because I did not recognize the program and have no idea what it was.

It was screwy a lot of last evening. I had problems with it starting around 7 or 7:30 that continued until I finally stopped trying around 11.

I've noticed a reply here or there just disappear off the thread over the last few weeks. It doesn't get "edited" by a ref or deleted, my reply is gone altogether. I think someone is just axing them.

Could be that you hit "Reply" on a post in a thread that was deleted. If that post is deleted, then yours would be removed as well. Not sure if that's the case here, but just a thought.

The next time you perceive this to have happened you can simply start a thread in here and ask where it went. Please include the thread it was in and an approximate time. Moderators can access the log that displays each and every singular instance in which a thread and/or post was edited or deleted, whether the action was performed by a member or a moderator.
If there is no reason for a post to be "axed" then it won't be, regardless of any conspiracy theory you may hold within.
