Ohio State wins the Big 10.
Florida wins the SEC.
Oklahoma wins the Big 12.
West Virginia wins the Big East.
Clemson wins the ACC.
Who cares about the rest.
Ohio State beats USC in week 3 and ends up playing West Virginia for the National Championship. - I'd like to think that Ohio State easily beats West Virginia, but then I think about what WVU did to Oklahoma last year during the bowl season. West Virginia beats Ohio State for the National Title. - Can't believe that I just wrote that. Scratch that. Ohio State plays Oklahoma for the National Title, Ohio State wins by 14.
Tim Tebow wins the Heisman. - Err, no, wait, Beanie Wells wins the Heisman.
Bowl Season
USC beats Wisconsin by 3 points.
Florida beats Missouri by 17.
What about Georgia? I have no clue where the preseason #1 ends up.

I don't expect OSU to lose in the NC game this year... ever since Butch moved to Chapel Hill I've been getting all of these gut feelings... If OSU gets to the NC game (and I don't know if they will) but if they do, they will win.... However, I'm thinking the NC game is Oklahoma and USC...

Tebow wins heisman (blech) OSU plays clemson in the national championship game and wins. The only reason why Im not picking a SEC team is because they will beat eachother up.
ACC: Clemson- I think this is the year they finnally break through.
Big East: South Florida- Matt Grothe leads the offense and Selvie leads the Defense
Big Ten: Ohio State- Call me a homer but 20/22 returning starters
Big 12: Texas Tech- There offense is there strength but this could be mike leaches best defense ever.
Mountain West: BYU- Watch out these guys could be in a BCS bowl game
Pac-10: USC- Countinues to dominate the conference
SEC: Florida- Defense has more experience and offense is well....great

ohio st./florida rematch from 2 years ago, ohio state gets revenge
beanie wins the heisman, he racks up more yards and touchdowns than any back from a major school
osu obviously wins the big ten, as does florida winning the sec, considering i have them for the championship
usc wins the pac ten, kansas wins the big 12, clemson the acc, and west va wins the big east

Come Sept. 6 UC is going to knock them off in Oklahoma!
I'll go ahead and pick a Georgia vs. USC national championship. Even though college football can be near impossible to pick. One bad game and your done most of the time, that's why I've always preferred the NFL by a lot.

Georgia looks pretty good.
I know the board hearts are with Laurneitis, but IMO Dannel Ellerby is the best backer in the country.
I don't know how it will go everywhere, so I will just comment on the team i care about...The Gators.
I think we will have a hard time winning the SEC east. It is between Fla,Ga, and Tn..and I think each will lose a game in the east, so it just depends on how the tie-breakers fall...who beats who, by how much...that sort of thing.
On O, the Gators can score on anybody. The D is fairly young. It doesn't suck by any means, but it isn't a shut-down D like we may have had a few years ago.
If the O really clicks in the games the D has some questions, we win it all. If the O hits one of those games where 17-20 points is in the cards, we can be had.
We lose 1 game and win the SEC...we get a title shot. We lose 2, we get a BCS game. Lose 3....Outback....4....the best of the rest.
Tebow might win the Heisman again, but it won't be with big dual numbers like last year. We have better backs, so Tim isn't going to gain 800 yards rushing or set a new SEC touchdown rushing record like last year....but he might throw for 4000 yards and toss 30 TDs...qbs who do that win Heismans....but after last season...probably the single most impressive season in NCAA history, just about anything is going to make it look like he didn't do as well, so, if Beanie stays healthy, he has a real solid shot.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

Big 10: Illinois (Ohio State can't stop Juice).
Big 12: Missouri (best QB in the nation).
ACC: Clemson
Big East: WVU
SEC: Tennessee (I have a feeling Erik Ainge is going to have a monster year). Defense is very underrated. If I'm taking a 1A, it's Florida.
Pac 10: Arizona State (love the combo of Rudy Carpenter and Keegan Herring).
National Title Game: Tennessee vs. Missouri
National Champion: Missouri

too bad they don't have a foot in the mouth gramemlins....
Btw the Juice was good last year because of that lil RB the pukesburgh steelers took in round 1....i don't think he can be that good w/o a solid running game.

ACC: Clemson (darkhorse = Wake Forest) Big East: WVU (darkhorse = UConn) Big Ten: Ohio State (darkhorse = Michigan State) Big 12: Missouri (darkhorse = Texas Tech) Pac-10: USC (darkhorse = Oregon State) SEC: Georgia (darkhorse = Alabama)
Heisman: Beanie Wells. 2000+ yards stops Tebow from winning 2 in a row
National Championship game 12-0 Ohio State vs 13-0 Clemson, Ohio State wins

As Knox said, they lost Ainge. Jonathon Crompton is the QB now. He's looked good in the past, but he's never been the one taking the shots. Their OL is all back IIRC, and they're a great OL. They've got a good RB in Foster. Their WR are unreliable, they were decent last year, but the year before were horrible. Also they lost their TE, Chris Brown, and the starter for this year just had surgery on his back, Jeff Cottam.
The D which was pretty good last year lost a vital piece in Jerrod Mayo, who was clearly the best player on the Vols defense. They also lost Hefney a pretty good DB. I'm not sure about the DL, but I believe there's only 1 LB and 1 DB returning this year.
All that being said, they've got Florida, Alabama, and Miss State at home, and they go to Auburn and Georgia. Honestly I see a 9-3 or 8-4 record this year for the Vols.

Im not even gonna blame the refs, we could have challenged but we didnt. I was at the game, so I didnt get a chance to see the replays, but wasnt it obvious it was a fumble and touchback?
For the people watching it at home? It blows my mind when stuff like that goes unchallenged. Any shmuck at home could do a better job calling challenges, than whoever OSU has doing that. Unbelievable Almost cost us our title shot.

Hey thanks man good analysis. I knew they lost Ainge but good programs usually seem to have good prospects waiting in the wings. Sounds like they'll have a great Oline and we all know what that can do to an offense. I just think that whoever wins the SEC and if they only have 1 loss is going to get into the title game.

yeah, that call was awful, just horrible, however, it happened so early in the game
the bucks had many chances to beat illinois that day
but i see us going into champaign looking for revenge, they will not be looked over this time around, and that benefit goes to ohio st.
