Vintage Santana and Chicago. Some Temptations and Beatles. Throw in a little Grand Funk Railroad and it's a party for me.

Aaaahhhhhhhhh! Turn it off Beavis!
I'd have a much easier time coming up with a list, but being my brother a few years back had my ENTIRE CD COLLECTION STOLEN, I quit buying music except for something here and there.

I've never listened to Pat Dailey or understood the fascination with a lesser Jimmy Buffet knock-off just because he is "local" **. I think that it's just rampant homerism, which northeast Ohio has a strong, strong tradition of... even if what we are homers about is really crap.
For that kind of music, it's either Jimmy Buffet... or it's nothing.
**For Ohioans, "local" is defined as being from the same state, just like Cedar Point and King's Island... even if the person or attraction is really from an area like 200 miles from where you live... which, if we were in Europe, would be far enough away to call it a different country.
Browns is the Browns

Before you start playing your music, will you poll the other beach goers of their musical preferences, as to not offend them. Or will you be using earphones, in which case, why not just sit in the back yard if your not going to enjoy the natural serenity of the waves rolling on shore.

j/c....
You don't have to play the Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet to have good music to play at the beach, or that typical "surfing" music.
Just play some upbeat, fun music that you enjoy. I'd have to leave if I listened to Buffet all day long.....
Just a few songs off the top of my head I'd be listening to:
Beastie Boys - Sabotage Lumidee ft. Busta Rhymes and Fabolous - Never Leave Sean Paul - We Be Burnin' Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out 2Pac and Dre - Cali Love Linkin Park - Faint Orgy - Blue Monday Paperboy - Ditty Lupe Fiasco - Daydream Outkast - Rosa Parks Naughty by Nature - Feel Me Flow
