On the show yesterday Bruce said that chewing tobacco had been banned from dugouts but doesnt snuff or rub count as chewing tobacco?
because I have seen plenty of guys still doing it including Cliff Lee
Also I like Bruce Drennan he usually makes very valid points but doesnt any get annnoyed when tells people off when they do not agree with him?
its one thing when a caller makes a stupid statement but a lot of times people have valid points

I like the show and Bruce Drennon, however, he does get surprisingly upset on some things that just don't make sense. Believe me, I have heard some really dumb fans(sorry, but this is true) on many STO shows, but he has a control problem within him that is very very obvious. Even to Ashley Collins once the other day. And I also see his fake smile at times that he flashes after he says "I love ya Cleveland".

Drennen is a moron, there's no other way to describe him. How he manages to stay employed in this town is anybody's guess. It's true that if you don't agree with him, you're berated and then cut off. Funny thing, Greg Brinda sometimes fills in for Broose and he is the exact same type of person. People like Greg and Broose and of course Trivi- fatslob are the main reason I no longer listen to talk radio...their "everyone is entitled to MY opinion" schtick is just a joke.

I caleed wednesday and drennan hung up on me. I voiced my opinion that ben sheets wasn't worth 18 million and not in the same class as zambrano, and peavy. he got so upset when I made valid points that he hung up on me. he likes soft ball callers. he feels inferior when he is called out and thus cuts you off.

It does seem like the guy takes the most idiot callers, who calls with horrible suggestions and cant back them up with valid points. I do wish we had some better local sports radio.

He prefers callers who sing his praises, telling him how great he is. People tend to forget he was in jail a while back for illegal gambling and yet he lands yet another job in this town. Only in America.

no what did he say?? I knew going in what his counter argument was going to be for why sheets hasn't won more than 12 games in a year. that's why I brought up cliff lee having the chance to win 22-23 games on a bad team. I think I also brought up that cc had almost as many wins as sheets and he only been there 6 or 7 weeks.
I only brought up facts, nothing was made up. I have nothing against sheets, just don't think he's worth 18 million.

I loved your call. I like watching him but you were right on that call and Bruce has a love affair with guys like Sheets and Garret Atkins.
