Well it turns out I'm going to be in Columbus on game day against Dallas, and I don't want to be stuck at a bar with a bunch of Bengals fans, where is a good place for a Brown's fan to watch a game in Columbus?

Plenty of Columbus Backer Bars. Do you know what part of town you will be in? Downtown, north, west, east, one of the burbs? Let me know and I'll let you know where your closest club is. East side, there's the Reynoldsburg Browns Backers and Gahanna Browns Backers. Downtown area, Brewery District Browns Backers. Northwest/north side, Buckeye Browns Backers. And there are a couple other clubs if you happen to be in a different part of town. You'll have no problems in Columbus, just let me know where you want to be.

I've seen a game at some bar not too far from OSU hosted by them before and had a blast. I really don't remember where. I don't remember too much from that day except we lost the game lol
Our honor defend, we will fight to the end, for OHIO! GO BUCKS!

I'll be at the game seeing as how I have season tickeys.. will be taking my son SackDawg. CapitalGG ran down the list of all the clubs we go to.. sometimes we go to different ones since they have different Browns alumni coming to hang out and sign autographs. Like Capital said, let us know what part of town you'll be in and we'll give you a recommendation.. will also call the club prez and tell them to take care of you!

Yeah, my son will be back at OSU in a couple of weeks. And occasionally, (away games) I may go down and join him so something near campus (or the Brewery District) would be nice to know.

The closest backers bar is the Brewery District Browns Backers at Buffalo Wild Wings on High St.

ive been to the b dubs/brewery district BB for a few games, good crowd. There are usually a few bengals fans on the other side of the bar, and usually a couple steelers fans, but a good atmosphere. Good luck getting a seat though. The 4pm games are tough because, the place is still packed from the 1pm games, you have to be crafty. Anywho, good crowd and they give prizes away at halftime

I'm not positive, but I think Woody's, in the complex at the corner of Olentangy & Ackerman, is a Browns bar. That is pretty close to U.A.

i like that little bar, its got a cool bar, its sunken into the gound, very neat. They usually play good music there as well. I dont think its an official Browns backer Bar, could be mistaken. But if that place is packed with Browns fans every sunday, that would sound even better than the Bdubs in the brewery district

Yeah I am pretty sure it is not an official one, like you mentioned, but there definitely used to be a group of Browns fans that would congregate up there when I was at OSU (02-06). I believe Saint still goes up there for a few games each year, and I am sure he will reply sometime today to give Bif Webster the current scoop on Woody's.
Definitely a nice little bar to check out. Nice people, good atmosphere, etc. They have that smoking patio right out front as well...

Woody's at Olentangey and Ackerman is a Browns bar.. not an official Backers club but a decent lil place, lots of Browns fans. The bartender is a squealer tho.. In years past they put out a coupla crock pots and a free lunch.. if youre in Arlington and don't want to go far Woody's is a good choice. If you want an official Backer bar.. go to Winking Lizard at Bethel and Godown. Thats the home of The Buckeye Browns Backers here's their link: http://www.buckeyebrownsbackers.com/

As SaintDawg said, from UA, the nearest true Backers bar is the Winking Lizard on Bethel Rd. $4 - 32 oz. Miller Lite (I think) on Sundays. Full menu.
Woody's, I hear, is a Browns bar, but not an official Backers meeting place. There is also a Subway next door if they don't have crocks out.
BW3 on S. High is also a possibility. A little farther than the other places and usually a larger "mix" of fans. But still will be loaded with Browns fans. And if it's just the 1 of you, you won't have problem convincing a table of Browns fans to share a spot with you.
Those are you best options from UA...
