As some on her know my wonderful daughter is getting married today. When they first started planning the wedding they wanted an outdoor setting to hold it. Well where they wanted to hold it they couldn't and being the holiday weekend they didn't want to hold it at a park.

Well the photographer was over to our house, and we were outside by the BBQ, and he looks over at our big Willow tree and notices that on the one side it forms a natural arch. So of course I can't tell my daughter no, so now the weddings at my house. Which i really don't have a problem with.

Anyways I'm really looking forward to the wedding...

1. the groom and i get along very well, as he's already concidered a part of the family. [ they've been together 9 yrs]

2. We get another reason to party with relatives.

3. And the most important thing is once the wedding starts maybe my wife will stop acting like a raging luntiac. This is our only daughters wedding.

anyways the beers beenon ice at the reception hall for 24 hours and in about 5 hrs 39 minutes we will have a wedding.

A suggestion from a 3 time "daughter give away" dad.....make this day about the "raging lunatic".
Assign someone to assist her all day as this is a biggee for her. I hope she isn't a one person clean up committee also.

If you have any money at all after the ceremony take her somewhere special to her and remind her why you've been together all this time.
She'll love it and will get your beer whenever you ask her from here on out!

Ralphie i've already got that covered. As a matter of fact there's at least 2 gals assigned to keep her under control. Also 79 it seems to keep me on task. After all i was a construction foreman. Every second cost money
Damn i do miss that since i retired. The count thread helps.

Oh ya we will have a wedding in 5 hrs and 8 minutes.

Hardest thing I have ever done in my life is give my only daughter away 7 years ago.Didin't know if I was gonna make it through it.
It helps knowing that she married a good guy that treats her good (he better,she's still daddy's little girl) and provides for her very well.
They have given us a 2 1/2 year old grand daughter and another little girl is due in January.
Enjoy the moment.If they've been together that long,this must be the right man for her.

Congrats Nor! Don't worry, it's almost over. Take the time and enjoy it. It's definately a special time.

Thanks guys.... Well the wedding went of very well......... the reception was going well until our granddaughter who my son was [ holding at the time ] pulled the fire alarm. So we had a few moments of excitement.

Other than that everything went well and there was a good time by all. My wife slept almost all day yesterday, and so did our son James. Tomorrow James starts back to school so maybe i can finally get caught up on all the sleep i lost.

That was a good day to get married. My hubby was best man and I was a bridesmaid for a wedding that same day. Also an outdoor wedding.

Congrats Nordawg! The weather was beautiful around here this past weekend.

Thanks everyone.....It was a wonderful day for a wedding the weather was top notch. Just a few more things and i'll have the yard back to normal. Took back the arches and water feature today.Still have 200 ft. of electric cord running out of the garage i just didn't feel like rolling up today. i'll need it tomorrow to trim some bush's so i said what the hell i'll leave it out 1 more day.
