I hope this is the right forum, I wasn't sure where to post this.

I was hoping to find and download some Browns videos and would like to download memorable Browns games.

Does anyone know of a place where I can download full browns games?

i've seen some torrents for old browns games, but none you'd want to download...

if you get a youtube converter you can download all of the nice videos of the browns from there.

You will have to pay, but on itunes you can buy (for 2.99 i think) the nfl replay of the following games

week 2 Bengals @ Browns (shootout)
week 6 dolphins @browns (nothing too memorable i thought...)
week 9 seahawks @ browns (comeback and OT)
week 10 browns @ steelers (heartbreak...don't bother)
week 11 browns @ravens (magical phil)
week 12 texans @browns (old school unis)
week 15 bills @ browns (blizzard bowl)

they are all about an hour long, and have some interviews mixed in, and at the end...really worth the $3 in my opinion.

Hello. For anyone interested I have created torrents for 3 classic games at Tenyardtorrents. Two of the games are caps from members of TYT that I have converted to DVD because I prefer to archive to that format. The Double OT game vs the Jets is from a VHS to DVD recorder transfer. These are all encoded as DVD files. If you wish, you can create an ISO and burn to DVD. These can viewed on your computer, preferably with VLC media player

I have just seeded these so the going may be slow at first. I average about 500 kb/s up and will hopefully have my client running in the neighborhood of 16 hours per day (at least 12 hours). To improve your speed I recommend that you register at:

TenYardTorrents Forums

and

TenYardTorrents Leech Tracker

Please note that you may be able to register just once with TYT to enable their private tracker. When I first joined registration was required for each and I haven't bothered to change it. If you are registered, you can find my thread with the torrents here:

TYT Classic Browns DVDs thread

These are attached as .rar (one per post). After unpacking you can load all of them or certain selections to your bit torrent client:

1970 - First Monday Night Football game
N. Y. Jets at Cleveland - 1st Half

This was originally upped at TYT by TheTrash as 2 Xvids (1 per half) with credit given to GoCowboys for sharing. I converted this with Avi2Dvd using optimum settings to preserve what was very good quality considering the original format. Again, these are encoded to two sets of DVD files to maintain what is surprisingly good quality, one per half. The original Monday Night crew was Dandy Don Meredith, Howard Cossell and Keith Jackson.

Btw, I have upped a documentary about Otto Graham to my Blip.tv account (the link is under my sig). It is a rip from an old DVD and it is just over 20 minutes long. It should be the first video that appears.

1987 N. Y. Jets at Cleveland Divisional Playoffs - 2 Overtimes

As mentioned, this is a cap from a VHS to DVD recorder. The quality is acceptable considering it includes commercials, halftime and 2 overtimes. What a game. Did you leave early?

1990 Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Division Playoffs

Another conversion from TYT member kolio41's cap. One of my all time favorite games...a 60 minute highlight reel. This also includes commercials, halftime and even post game (our boy Clay!).

The quality of all of these is what should be expected from a cap of video tape.

Enjoy and please seed.

I do have a post for torrents to three classic games. They are all DVD conversions from video tape so the quality is as can be expected. Other than retail DVDs from the NFL I am yet to find anything but conversion from analog tape for classic games.

Every game from last year with the exception of the Rams game is available at Tenyardtorrents. TYT is an outstanding site and most games are dependably seeded. The games vary from a standard to HD caps and they are typically encoded to h264, xvid, divx or mp4.

If any of those interest you or anyone else, patience is a virtue. I know I mentioned that these will take some time to share simply based on me being the only seed at this point. While I do average around 500 kb/s upload (per speed test with a Cincy server), I am uploading two different files at his point with what appears to be 7 peers. I am also downloading several other games from BuckeyePlanet and TYT at the same time. To compound the upload speed condition, TYT's tracker does occasionally drop me and the torrents will drop to DHT status. I am by no means a bit torrenting expert, but that essentially means that the speeds then become excruciatingly slow. The fix for this is to log back into the tracker and I do check this status several times on a daily basis to see if that is needed. I wil reread TYT's FAQs to see if there is a better fix that having to regularly re-log in (I do not delete my browser's cookies or cache when seeding). Regardless, I will continue to seed as promised before (12-16 hours a day) as long as anyone is downloading.
