Yes, directv likes to drain has much money has they can out of you. If/when nfl sunday ticket becomes available to Dish and cable, I'm switching in a heart beat.

Son of a bitch. I just read on line direct tv bid over 700 mil to keep it exclusively on direc tv after its original deal expires in 2010 so unfortunately it won't be going anywhere else.
Wow, I pay 10 extra month for the freaking HD as it is and now they block us from getting the HD games unless we pay for freaking super fan. Holy Shi* thats a joke. Not to mention they DON'T offer locals yet in my area. Wow.
I guess its buyer be ware. Shame on me for not reading the fine print.

Fine print is directv's favorite two words. They promise the whole world then they screw you over once you sign up. I'm going to check out the bar where the browns backers go, if its good I might say screw dtv next season and go to the bar.

Are you sure?
I don't have Superfan, and I got the Browns game in Hi-Def last week. And most the other games had the option for HD ... although I didnt' look to see if I would get it or not.

Last week was a free pre-view weekend for super fan. If you look on the site, it will say to order super fan for HD.

i was going to get it, but figured it wasn't worth it...
5 primetime games, a handful of other games that could end up on regional broadcasts (in chicago)
so 7 or 8 games for 300 bucks, plus extra for hd
no thanks.

A bar is the best place and means to watch any Browns game, if you aren't local, and can't attend the game. The sports atmosphere is awesome, you have people bringing you drinks and the game is on every week. And you meet great new friends. I'll never pay extra for that on my cable box or otherwise, just because it is so much fun going to the bar. Pass me the wings please.

Last game I watched at a bar is the reason I got the ticket. Too many morons. I like to be surrounded by my friends not a bunch of drunk ignorant steeler fans yelling.
