What the heck is going on here? Is today not game day? Why do you close a thread started on game day about game day?
For a new member that has been reading and observing for many years this place has been disappointing so far.

I actually do understand why they closed that thread for now. As the Ref mentioned that it would probably end up reaching a couple of pages long even before Kick-off.
But what I don't understand is why they closed down the thread on latest injury report. I don't know what the harm is in inquiring about who is not playing for us.

The "Gameday" thread has historically been for a discussion that takes place DURING the game. Starting a thread for this purpose hours before the KO only lends to pages and pages of drivel.
There are many threads that the game/players/other games can be discussed on PRIOR to the game discussion thread being ran and getting cluttered.

Then should it be called the game time or during the game thread?
And should it be locked or closed right after the game is over?
So as not to clutter and get full of drivel?
There are always lots of threads to discuss what ever on here.

I removed that thread.
In addition to there being an existing thread on injuries, the rules specifically point out that we are not to start "Request for Information" threads. As the rule states, " You’re on the internet, utilize the tools available to you to research and then discuss a topic ."
