It's slow on the board today, so I figured I'd see who all you gamblers are taking this weekend. Here's who I'm taking....
Only NCAA game I'm taking this weekend is Auburn +2 vs. LSU.
NFL games I'm taking are...
New York Giants -13 1/2 Washington -3 Minnesota -3 /12 Detroit +4 New Orleans + 5 1/2 Pittsburgh +3 1/2 (Lock of the week)
So, who you guys got?

No one. Unless you pay me to pick. Doesn't matter who or what I put money on, I lose. (in fact, that's a nice little bit of info to know about myself and I'm glad I learned it early). So,tell me who you want me to pick, cover my money and give me $100, then you pick against me - and, walah!!!! You win your bets.

pittsburgh line surprises me a little bit...that scares me. They're almost BEGGING you to take PIT...so I don't know
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Love sports gambling. My parlays are:
Carolina +3, Cleveland, and St. Louis
Arizona, Carolina, and Tampa Bay
Arizona, Detroit, and Cleveland
St. Louis, Jax, and Oakland
Arizona, Carolina, New Orleans, and Cleveland
All I have to say is Carolina and Cleveland better win. Peterson may be out and steve smith is back, so Carolina is my money pick.

When I just do it for fun without money I'd say I'm about 60% ATS. When I put money down and I know I'm going to win I'm about 40% ATS. I too learned this when I was in college.
I've only put money on one game since then and it was a few years ago when Ohio State was playing on the road against Penn State. It was a white out and a wash out of all of Heldawg's spare change.
No more betting for me.
I enjoy watching football for the "chess" aspect. I've found I don't need the "action" of betting to enjoy watching. That's why I stopped betting a long long time ago.

you know, i sent an email to the admins of this board, asking if it was cool if i put up a weekly gambling topic, i got no answer back...
i switched books recently, to betUS, they have been really great to me, if anyone wants to get in let me know, i can get credit for signing people up... they offer really solid bonsues, and their site is easy to navigate around, the only downside was that with my old book, they allowed 2$ bets on parlays over 9 teams, and every saturday and sunday i'd do about 10 bucks a piece on crazy 9 team bets, i have actually won multiple times...
anyways...
for saturday
unc -3
auburn +3.5
penn st -30
those are games that have stuck out so far... i usually don't place my bets until 1-2 hours before kickoff...
i've really been monitoring line movement, and it has payed off thus far...
when the books raise the lines to entice you to take one side, i've been doing it...
i've also been cashing in on a ton of underdogs...

i won 600 bucks that night on a 9-team parlay...
i remember lsu was playing vandy for the last game, and i was hung up at this college, watching my cousin while my aunt and uncle attended a reunion thing.
some dude walks into the room and sees me watching, and goes "they're covering!" i just lol'd

wait a second....so you are giving 3.5 points with Minnesota???
the same Minnesota that just changed to 54% career Gus at QB...who has Sidney Rice and Benard Berrian injured and probably out for the game....the same Vikings team that Adrian Peterson may or may not play for and even if he does will be playing hurt?
and even with all that Carolina excels in stopping the run and are getting Steve Smith back
i wish you luck on your other games....i'm hoping you didn't parlay with that one.

You basically just summed up why I'm taking Minnesota. Everyone is going to be all over overrated Carolina.

When I saw this thread I thought it was going to be about the Vegas Braylon Edwards proposition for dropped passes. It's not something I want to bet on or even think about so I didn't read the whole thing but it's out there if your interested.

i'm probably not going to touch the minny/carolina game at all... maybe carolina in a teaser...
i've actually got the browns +2.5 as one of my most confident plays, i'm hoping the public pounds the ravens and it gets up to 3, maybe even 3.5, but somehow i think it may go down eventually...
san fran giving 4 is very tempting... seems almost too good to be true...

The Browns fan in me like us +2 1/2.
The gambler in me says the safest play of the week is Baltimore - 2 1/2.
But, I never bet against my team.
