Maybe the coaching staff has decided to tank the first games through the Bye week then come out like world-beaters against the Giants Monday night---then run the table going into the Super Bowl.
I bet thats what they're doing.
Because if there is one thing Romeo knows; it's strategy, and he's setting up the entire league.

That would be a pretty funny lowlight package for the Browns over the past 3 week. Oh nooooo!

Forget the props on Heiden at TE and KW to WR; you're about half nuts,....

The time to pull out all the stops is now!
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Our Offense is well built up out of the 2 (O n D) but the old addage great defenses stop great Offenses...and we were maybe just a Good Offense coming in, combine that with our injuries. The Offense didn't pull through.
Those teams surprising people...have had nice schedules so far. But more important have pretty completed Defenses to carry them! Buffalo and Titans come to mind.
Yeah the top teams like Pats, Colts seem hurt (Chargers D ain't the same without Merriman but they will win their Division) But there are others ready to rise.
Titans, Jags, Bills, Ravens all on the backing of their Defenses.
Our D is better but not good enough to carry this team. We need the O to be stellar.
As much as 1-3 is not good. It really is not a done deal. We just have an incredibly hard schedule though...If we can get to .500 5-5, we still would have a good shot...even 6-6.
JMHO - never say day even though it looks bleak. We are getting healthier.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

The flaw in your analogy is that the Titanic was unable to repair the damage that sealed its fate.
Our team is getting healthy and will be recovering from a good part of what has contributed to our lack of offense, and believe it or not, our defense IS playing better than it was last year.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Here is another interesting idea. Vickers to a power slot; Jamal stacked behind him for pitch. Or put a guard in the slot for power sweeps and sealing. If we make money outside, then throw. Too much middle too much of the time. Run em side to side with the Indian ponies for a quarter. Then pound.
