Glad to hear she's safe. Time to upgrade that cell with a tracking chip.

Darn teenager's!!!!

I hear ya. That must have been a horrible experience to go through. I can just imagine what was going through your head.

I know what was going through his head. I just told him to remember what we did at her age. That scared him to death

You're supposed to calm and support someone in a time of stress, not ADD to the stress!

Not to change the subject - I'm sure we are all glad that shotty got things resolved. BUT. on the way to school today my daughter (8) asked if I had ever been in an accident. I said, well, just once.

"What happened?" I said we were screwing around and we put the car into a ditch. What happened? I said daddy broke the rear view mirror with his head, and cracked the windshield. (I was sitting in the middle of the front seat, our town has two resorvoirs with a stone road between them, we were driving up one side, then down and up the other side - and there's an 8ft. deep ditch at the end, and we hit it)

But my daughter kept asking "what happened, did you get grounded?" I said no. Did your brothers get grounded? I said "no, I wasn't with my brothers, I was with friends". Oh, she said, was Chris driving?

Geez, how'd she know that? She knows my friends to well.

Ah, just a lighthearted end to this - shotty, we're glad it got taken care of in at least a not bad way.

Good to hear, Shotty. Those kind of things are scary, no doubt. There's a lot of crazy people in this world, and I'm sure a million things went through your mind.

Glad to hear she's safe at home with you.

I had nothing to do with it; I swear.

Glad it all worked out Shotty.
