I posted this in a thread in the Gameday Forum, but it looks like this will affect more than just the Cincy game.

Browns LG Eric Steinbach will reportedly miss the next 3-5 weeks with a separated shoulder.

Like Derek Anderson needs any more problems with his receivers hurt and Brady Quinn breathing down his neck. Steinbach, who the Browns signed for $17 million guaranteed in 2007, would ideally return after the Week 5 bye. Journeyman Seth McKinney will start in his place. Sep. 25 - 1:00 pm et

I hope so.....................

Cause that SUCKS!

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

U know .. a couple weeks ago this may have bothered me .... but now that the geniuses like Z and Rish and Peenie have shown me the light this is NO BIG DEAL AT ALL .. as they have taught me that INJURIES ARE JUST AN EXCUSE ... a good HC will over come it ... NO PROBLEMS ..

I owe U guys a Thank U cause this would have had me worried but now it doesn't .. so ..

Thanks Menzas ...

Well, I know we can't say what I first said when I saw this headline.

To give you a clue, it started with "Are you" and ended with "kidding me?!" but there was a bit more to it...

Hopefully rotoworld is wrong....

http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/article.php?id=8900

INJURY UPDATE: Left guard Eric Steinbach (shoulder) and outside linebacker Willie McGinest (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday for a second straight day. Ryan Tucker, who has not played since last season because of a hip injury, is trying to get ready in case he's needed in Steinbach's spot, but it's still not clear who will be there in Cincinnati. Seth McKinney started last Sunday in Baltimore. "I don't know what will occur in that situation," Browns head coach Romeo Crennel said. ... Much more is known about what's going on at nose tackle. Shaun Rogers (shoulder) was able to work after sitting out on Wednesday and Crennel continued to say that it's his expectation the former Detroit Lion will be able to play against the Bengals. ... Wide receiver Donte Stallworth, out all season with a quadricep problem, is practicing and trying to shake off the rust, according to Crennel

The Browns have ruled out only Sean Jones and Martin Rucker.

Well I guess the good news is that it looks like Tuck will be set to go. He's fully participated in practice the past two days. I'm much more comfortable with McKinney and Tuck as the guards instead of McK and Hadnot.

It means that RAC thinks some players are better than other when they are not! DA, Hadnot, Willie just to name a few. They all have better players behing them on the depth charts.

You have no proof at all that Quinn is better. Could he be? Sure, but there is no evidence to support it. Anderson has played horrible this year, but there is zero evidence to say that Quinn is better, so don't state it as fact that he is.

Just call it a very strong opinion and let it drop.

If everything I read on this board was based soley on fact without opinion or perception... well I probably wouldn't spend so much time here.

Everything came out well, and no plunger was needed after practice on Thursday.

Well now lets hope Braylon leaves the seat up so Donte doesn't fall in and blow out a knee or something again

LOL...I just disagree on how much a difference it makes.

At some point you need to move on.

It's nice when everything falls in to place, but that doesn't happen that often...teams have to work through....you were the one last week saying there were no excuses if we didn't win the game.

Cincy is worse than Balt, so I would assume you take the same position this week....you should anyway.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Great... 3-5 more weeks that DA can post QB ratings of 35 and get a free pass...

Browns | Steinbach limited in practice Friday
Fri, 26 Sep 2008 14:26:17 -0700

Scott Petrak, of the Medina County Gazette, reports Cleveland Browns OG Eric Steinbach (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 26. He is questionable for Week 4 and will be a game-time decision.

Probably because it's a Shoulder, not a Leg or Knee. And it says right there that he was LIMITED in practice... meaning he wasn't able or allowed to do everything.

A shoulder would allow him to participate in walk-throughs, but not allow him to go full speed or do any work with pads. Also, with him being Questionable, that officialy means that it is a 50% shot that he will be there, or won't. He's hurt, but he isn't dying.
