What area should I stay in? I'm probably going to be heading in on Friday and hanging around DC for the day on Saturday.

Should I buy a parking pass? The ones I've seen seem to be around $40; considering what I spent on the tickets, that's not a lot, but is it worth it?

Any other suggestions welcome!!!!

Thanks,
Brian

It depends on a lot of things but.....if it was me....

I'd definitely stay in Georgetown. I don't know your budget but I usually stay at the Westin Grand: http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1013

And I would definitely just take the train to the game. Here's the metro link: http://www.wmata.com/

Have fun!

No availability on the Westin Grand.

I was figuring 200-300/night for the DC area.

I'll look into the train. Thanks!

To anyone....

Are there any Mariott's in a recommended area? I've got a ton of points and this might be a good opportunity to use them.

Here's a link to the Marriott in the area.

I'm bored watching the Sunday night game so I figured I'd help a fellow dawg out

Thanks. There are just so many Mariott's around there, I'd like to get a recommendation from someone who has stayed in one in the area as I am not familiar with DC at all.

Cool...you tailgating at all? My girlfriend is coming with me - she's a Skins fan (grew up in Fairfax) but this will be her first game.

I am also going to the game! However I am staying with a buddy who lives right downtown. Going in Friday night after work, prolly getting in fairly late. Leaving to go home after the game unless I am somehow able to get that Monday off.
