I'd just like for him to answer the question instead of treating it like a presidential debate query!

We've beaten Purdue, Minnesota, Penn State and Michigan. PSU and UM unquestionably the biggest wins in school history. Truly will be a glorious day when OSU is added to the list. It will happen - maybe not by TOLEDO first, but a MAC school will beat you sometime.
I love your misguided optimism Dale.....

If I had a quarter for everytime I've read this IGNORANT statement .....You people talk like TOLEDO is a group of idiots assembeled together before the game and told to do your best. We're clearly a nothing team. Right.
A lot of this has come from OSU fans and THAT is the reason the rest of the world hates you - your absolute arrogance. There's no real football in your eyes - hell even no real university or college - in the state except for you.
Psssst. I'm from Oregon and went to UT. They stink this year, plain and simple. Amstutz' was expected to be fired after the season. I know who 35-0 Chuck Ealey is. The team that beat PSU was much better than this one....Bolden and Tayler. If the Rockets beat the Bucks, I'll be happy for them....but I'd be screaming in pain from the monkeys flying out of my arse.

Why is that silly? Are you trying to tell me their performances in the last 2 national title games and their game against USC haven't killed the conference nationally?
It has certainly tarnished Ohio State's national image, but isn't that Ohio State's PROBLEM ? Why are you so worried about it,..? Killed the conference ??
Last time I looked, Penn State was ranked third. I think they're a Big Ten team.

Rodriguez INVENTED the spread concepts teams are using all over college football. To think that the godfather of the spread offense can't succeed...
I hope you don't actually believe that. If you think Rodriquez invented anything as it pertains to the offense he runs, you are out of your mind.
Mouse Davis was running the spread in the 60s.
True, Rodgriguez and Urban Meyer have helped popularize the spread option that many teams are running but to say they invented this offense is preposterous.
Did you know that Arkansas invented the Wildcat offense?!? NOT!
The only new thing I've seen in college football in the last 10 years is the pistol formation that Nevada uses. Now it's spreading and OSU even used it last week

Several?????? Several occasions????? I listed all of OSU's losses over the course of the past 3.5 years.
There are a total of 6 losses.
Two of them were a TD or less margin-wise.
I ask again, which loss was an embarrassment for the Big10 in comparison to *ichigan losing to App State and a 1-4 Toledo team.
several; adjective: being more than two but fewer than many in number or kind.
So, 3 losses of 2 TD's or more is SEVERAL occasions. Not sure how that's so hard to understand. I also find it funny that you won't atleast acknowledge that the Big Ten is viewed the way it is nationally because Ohio State, the "class" of the conference, has been shellacked by every ranked team they've played out of conference the last 2 and a half years. If that wasn't the case, why is OSU stuck at #12, even while teams ahead of them drop like flies and teams behind them leapfrog ahead? While Toldeo and Appy State were terrible losses, the media still judges team by how they do against the best teams. You're gonna get upset from time to time, especially when your in a wash of a season but how you play against the big dogs is where your bread is buttered.
Is Toldeo a bad loss? Duh. Not trying to sugar coat it but if it was as big of a deal as you'd like to make it out to be, wouldn't the media atleast care a bit more? So what do they understand that you don't? Maybe that Michigan has absolutely no QB what so ever? They played the entire second half with a walk-on when Threet went out with an elbow injury. How many games are you going to win over the course of a season with a walk-on QB with no experience? Maybe 1 or 2? This isn't Rudy. Look at the top teams in the country. It's a who's who of college QB's. It's not all that difficult to understand. When Michigan gets a QB, they'll be better. Until then, they'll struggle.

A ton. I guess "several" times of "getting our butts handed to us" = a ton.
I think you're having trouble absorbing what I'm saying...... I didn't say OSU had a ton, I said the Big Ten as a whole did.....and that OSU has done it's part (as well) to contribute to that big pile of dog poo. It's not just Ohio State, nor is it just Michigan. Top to bottom the conference has performed poorly against OC foes.

OSU has 1241 rushing yards. OSU has 1005 passing yards.
Pretty balanced, eh?
That's pretty much my point. Those are pretty 1940's esque for a "pro style" offense. Look at those numbers since Pryor took over:
OSU rushing yards: 757 OSU passing yards: 515
That's a 60/40 run to pass ratio.
I made this argument when Pryor committed there. Tressel "spread it out" with an accurate passer in Smith. He has no idea what to do with an ATHLETE like Pryor. Was Smith a runner? Sure, he was but clearly not to the extent that Pryor is. Smith's highest rushing total was 611 yards. Pryor will probably eclipse that by his 6th start. Did Smith develop in to a better QB over time? Sure, he did but his natural passing ability was much, much better then Pryor's. Pryor is a zone-read QB that they're trying to use like a Chase Daniel's. I know the kid is young but I've watched them play every week and the OSU coaching staff is pretty clueless as to how to use the kid effectively. They're trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Eventually that's going to catch up with them. If I had to take a guess, OSU is probably going to lose 2 more games this year because of their inability to put Pryor in situations where he can be successful on a regular basis.

Throttling people????
LOL. I'd love to see you try to play down PSU's +34 point scoring margin.....oh wait, you just did. You do realize that they absolutely smacked Oregon State, who beat USC......eh, you get the idea. Not sure what else their is to say when the average score of their games has been 45-11. LOL @ trying to get a jab in on UM in that throttling response though. Seriously, if they don't throttle Michigan, I would be shocked. It's not like it's proving much of anything given Michigan's Spurgeon Wynn type QB play.

Ok, maybe I should clarify. Rodriguez didn't invent the "spread offense" as an umbrella concept. He did, however (and this is pretty common knowledge), invent/organize/master whatever the hell you wanna call it a hybrid version of the offense in the form of the zone read spread.
Funny you should mention Urban Meyer as he's borrowed pretty much his entire offense from his good friend.....Rich Rodriguez.

Well in actuality Pryor chose OSU because Tressel would be able to find multiple ways to utilize Terelles multitude of talents, unlike the one dimensional Dick Rodriquez.

Yeah, Tressell has no idea what to do with an ATHLETE. My goodness where do people come up with this stuff,..?? We're here pounding on keyboards and this guy (same age as me) is making 7 million a year coaching college football,...
You tell me who knows what they're doing,...!

Yeah, that seems unfair, but that's what these dorkburgers do. Stir the pot to sell a paper. I think any college coach at a program that's supposed to be as good as Michigan should be given at least FOUR years before any "evaluation" is made.
At a minimum, that's how long it takes before his first recruited class becomes seniors, right ?

LOL... wow, it's been a long time since I've seen a copy of The Blade (which came to be affectionately known as "The Bland" in my days at UT). I agree though... I'm not sure it's even suitable as a bird cage liner.

Mr McCain, the question posed was which loss in comparison to the Um losses to Appy State and Toledo.....
A loss to a ranked team does not embarrass a conference.

Which teams have dropped like flies and which teams have leapfrogged ahead of us; which teams have they beat to accomplish this? This is how the polls work you see.....the Buckeyes are winning by small margins since their loss to the #1 (at the time) team in the country and have switched to a frosh QB. Of course the rankings are going to come out like they have the last few weeks.

Freshman QB that was used to tucking and running in HS. Not even 18.5 years old. Has rushed more times than the starting RB because the starting RB missed time with injuries....completing 66% of his passes thus far.
Learning right out of the gate due to Boeckman's poor play.....
You're skeered.

Mr McCain, your earlier statement was that they were throttling people in the Big10. Last time I checked, Oregon State was NOT in the Big10.
They don't have a +34 scoring margin in the Big10, it's currently +23 in conference due to the shellacking of Wisconsin.
