Whoever decided to do this in Cavs management should be fired as well.
Last night in Pittsburgh Moondog came out in a Browns jersey, to the boos of the Pittsburgh faithful, then he ripped off the Browns jersey to unveil a Steelers jersey.
Are the Cavs management on crack? Dude, you're the #3 show in town, #2 only when the playoffs come. You'll never be #1 in Browns Town. Don't off the fanbase that drives this city.
I know I'm gonna hear "Oh you're just blowing this out of proportion." Well, you're talking to a guy who doesn't buy Heinz Ketchup and only shops at Giant Eagle when at home because the nearest place besides that is 20 minutes away.

Why support Pittsburgh-based companies? I almost blew a gasket one time at Giant Eagle where I saw Steelers merch right next to Browns merch in the heart of Browns town.

I don't use anything made with steel because steel used to be made in Pittsburgh, and it's in the name Steelers.

Because when you get your head out of your butt and think about it.. they are just honest hardworking Americans who are in an equally tough financial situation as Cleveland and they could use all of the support you could give them... and oh yea, they root for a different football team than you...

Agreed.
How dumb are you to think that what ketchup you buy affects how the Steelers perform or their success? It's a game..but you live in your weird little world. I've stood up for you before, but stuff like this is just moronic and silly.
I'm not a big ketchup fan, but I shop at Giant Eagle weekly. I'm such a bad fan watch out.

Is purchasing non-Pittsburgh ketchup really much differernt than limiting your sporting merchandise purchases to those of the Cleveland Browns....a team who is compiled of 52 random individuals from different parts of the world that represents a city?
Not that I follow Ammo's philosphy, but it is just as "retarded".

Cavs #1 player is a Yankees and Cowboys fan...lets dump him too! Seriously I do understand to a small degree what your saying but...its a very very very small degree.

Actually Giant Eagle in Ohio is based out of Cleveland not Pittsburgh. And not shoping at a place or buying something just because it is from Pittsburgh is very stupid and immature.

I don't shop at Giant Eagle either, but only because it's cheaper to go K-Mart/Wal-Mart.
I'm with you though with the Cavs/Steelers thing. I understand why they play there - it's a big market in the neighborhood without an NBA team...but go there and play and leave. You don't need to play kissy to the crowd. They're their for one reason and one reason only - 23. I'd bet if Moondog just does his Moondog thing wearing a CAVS jersey no one cares either way.
Moondog should not be shot but someone above him in the marketing department ought to be reminded, ahem, "the name on the door is Cleveland" and a hell of a lot more Cleveland and Ohio people pay to support the team than Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania people.
And Heinz ketchup really is the best - but it's always bothered me the red zone can't be sold to say Sherwin Williams or something lol.

sticking to the subject of moodog, just reading that made me very upset. moondog, what in gods name is going on here. a cleveland mascot, who happens to be a dog, rips a browns jersey and wears a steelers jersey? im sorry, that is just wrong. i cant see this season go on without moondog catching some backlash for this. inexcusable

Of course I never heard Beerdowner make excuses for what he writes when he is drunk.
I think it is plain stupid. Then again, I do live where many people drive to Pittsburgh to work. I kinda like the fact that my neighbors have jobs.
In regards to Moondog... Stupid move by the Cavs. There will be a large backlash against the mscot. That's not something you want from your own fans.

Pittsburgh does not have a basketball team. Many people that live there are Cavalier fans. I don't see a problem in this. Just good ole fashion fun. I'll bet MoonDawg burned it after the game.

ALL mascots should be shot. As far as Ketchup, but and use what you want.....but don't EVER put it on a hot dog (unless you're under 12 years old......or my wife )!

I take no offense. ...I'm closer to being an idiot than a member of mensa. So, maybe you're right. I do wear Browns gear to Bears games. A lot of people say thats idiotic. I just like supporting MY team.
