You are an idiot. Kechup should be used on everything that doesn't have the consistancy of soup.
I have put catsup in soup too, especially Ramen Noodle soup with some catsup and hot sauce.

Eh, I'm more of a BBQ sauce guy more than anything else. I put it on pizza, I put it on pancakes! (actually that's an alteration of a line from Wedding Crashers)
I think it's funny that a sidebit from the main portion of the post is being blown way, way out of proportion.
This thread is about Moondog and how dumb the Cavaliers management is. This is worse than LeBron wearing a Yankees cap because LeBron's a person. Moondog's a person playing a character. The character should have his personal allegiances with the city he represents.

My understanding of mascots is that they have a lot of free-reign as to what they can do. Cavs management would be spelling out exactly what he needed to do from appearance to appearance. My guess would be they had no prior knowledge of him planning to do this.

I would think they did this on purpose. And rightly so. Pittsburgh doesn't have an NBA team (Pittsburgh people seem to dislike Philly more than Cleveland). Maybe some of them would follow the Cavs....which means more dollars to the franchise.
The Cavs need to worry about their team, not the city. Yes, they play in Cleveland but they're in the business of making fans where ever they live. If that means going after Buffalo, Toledo, Columbus or even Pittsburgh, so be it.
I was rooting for the Penguins in last years Stanley Cup. Does that make me a bad Browns/Cleveland fan?

I meant HIS cartoon prof. Not mine. I wasn't lucky enough to take a movie class, or a cartoon class in college.

OK, a Cleveland Pro Team is marketing their product to a city in a different state. Basketball and football are 2 totally different products and aren't related at all. They are trying to get some fans from Pittsburgh b/c they have no pro team. It's business, nothing more. Smart move by the CAVS IMO. The rivalry b/w Pittsburgh and Cleveland is related to football only. Do you think that say Eaton Corp or any other Cleveland based business shouldn't do business with Pittsburgh b/c of a damn game? Thats not how things work in the real world. I hate Giant Eagle and refuse to shop there when I can avoid it but for an entirely different reason. Not b/c they are based in Pittsburgh. I could care less. I just hate that company period with a strong passion.

Well, in your case, I'll allow your hatred of them. Yours is justified.
For most everyone else that says they don't shop there, it isn't. I agree with damn near everything you just said about not doing business because of football game.

Agreed.
How dumb are you to think that what ketchup you buy affects how the Steelers perform or their success? It's a game..but you live in your weird little world. I've stood up for you before, but stuff like this is just moronic and silly.
I'm not a big ketchup fan, but I shop at Giant Eagle weekly. I'm such a bad fan watch out.
I'd rather shop at Giant Eagle than support WalMart. Just a thought. Pittsburgh being such a blue collar town is what makes this rivalry so great. Pittsburgh and Cleveland are essentially the same type of town. They were a few years ahead of the curve in getting away from industry IMO.
Amusingly, I love Pittsburgh as a city (I grew up 30 min from there). Just hate their football team.

I never thought about not buying Heinz,...thank you.
I've tried. But that stuff is so damn good nothing else comes close.
I just hate having a "Heinz Red Zone" in Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Why support Pittsburgh-based companies? I almost blew a gasket one time at Giant Eagle where I saw Steelers merch right next to Browns merch in the heart of Browns town.
Wow. That is beyond sad. Seriously, you need to chill out. Pittsburgh is a great city of hard working folks like Cleveland. Just because you don't like their football team...
