I'll also admit I wear my Jonas Brothers t-shirt to work every day. Is that stepping over the line?

Well at least you don't create threads whining about a spongebob show.
Sorry but hearing a 20 plus year old whine about the Disney channel is quite sad in many ways, it is one thing to watch a show every once and awhile but to complain about the programming in your 20's about a channel designed for toddlers, thats a cry for help in my eyes.
I wonder what kind of rampage Ammo goes on when he can't figure out one of the blue's clues episodes.
Seriously at his age complaining about the Disney channel is sad, but that is my opinion.

I'll admit that I'm almost 30 and I still catch Spongebob every once in a while.
Ya Spongebob is a great show. I don't much care for the new ones though. The older ones were hilarious but the newer ones seem to lack something.

And I think his voice is a little different. Is there a new guy doing the voice? Am I that out of the loop when it comes to Spongebob?
But when it comes to cartoons, give me the Venture Brothers, the Simpsons, the Family Guy and Looney Tunes any day of the week.

What is more sad is people making such a big deal about it.
He just brought up something he noticed. Lighten up, people.

What's even sadder is you making a big deal about them making a big deal. They were just commenting on what they saw. Lighten up 017.

Oh that's no secret.
I try my best to avoid what teens and "tweens" like these days.
Jonas Brothers and MIley "Hannah Montana" Cyrus - blech!
I never liked her dad in the first place and as for this boy band - I hope people's fascination with them dies out soon. Bad thing is my neice and nephew LOVE both of them.

Yeah seriously.
And the Disney Channel shows I'm referring to are from middle school.

The Disney channel your referring to was when you went to middle school? Quote:
Now it's unwatchable.
That comment doesn't sound like your talking about the past.
Just be honest and admit your a 20 plus year old who still watches Nickelodeon and Disney. You already admitted this, why try to back peddle away from your comments.

I was wondering the same thing. I assume they are pretty much like the Allman Brothers, Doobie Brothers, and Righteous Brothers - minus the talent.

No doubt 35 years from now people will be remembering that performance much the same as people today recall the Allman Brothers "Live at the Fillmore" in 1972 ... really.

Wow .... I had no idea that those boys were that talented .......

IMO The Jonas Brothers represent the uber-PC, sanitized and manufactured rock and pop acts that have enjoyed immense success in this modern era where image and financial support are steadily driving popular music toward irrelevance. While there are plenty of talented musicians out there, I believe majority of popular music has become a sham. Anymore, an album is really nothing more than a piece of trash transformed by armies of professionals; hairdressers, stylists, record executives, producers, agents, consultants, sound enginneers. It is manipulated to look and sound nice enough to pull duckets out of consumers pockets.
I wish to wash my Irish wristwatch......
