This little story begins on November 2nd, 2008. It was a blustery day at the Island and many folks were congregating, old friends and new.

The laughter, food and drinks were flowing freely. Browns fans everywhere you look. There was a Steeler fan amongst the crowd that was a tailgating virgin.

My dear sister BlondeSteeler, aka Shonda aka minx was by my side for my 45th birthday celebration with the Browns playing the Ravens at home....what a beautiful day to have a birthday.

I see many friends that I haven't seen since last season and a friend I hadn't seen since the Jets game in 06. It's Buddha and he's got a big smile on his face. I proceed to introduce him to Shonda and they start talking.

We walked the Muni Lot several times and then I decided to hang out with some folks I hadn't seen for a while. Buddha and Shonda went walking again.

They enjoyed each others company so much that they decided to exchange phone numbers and possibly get together to have dinner and movie.

Lo and behold they start talking on a daily basis and then I get asked to be Shonda's Navigator since I know CTown fairly well. We take off from Akron and go up to visit with Buddha and his lovely cat Puck. I end up falling asleep in a recliner while Buddha and Shonda talked all night long.

The following morning we had breakfast and then headed back home. To my surprise Shonda has made several more trips up to Cleveland and we are now making plans for a going away bonfire and bringing Buddha down here to enjoy with us.

So the ending of the story is this, as of now ladies and gents the great Buddha is no longer looking for his Ms Right, he found her by fate of being at the Ravens game on my birthday.....November 2nd is such an awesome day.

LMAO.....Buddha gave me total permission to tattle on them. He's already shouted from the radio station that he loves her.

So you can see, not only has Shep and Christy proved that Browns fans and Steeler fans can be compatable, but so are Buddha and Blonde making that journey.

I am so happy for them and can't wait to witness their journey together.

That's the funny thing about journey's. Some can be long and winding with a lot of pretty scenary. Others can be more like a long walk off of a short pier!



But I hope theirs is filled with pretty scenary.

What ever happened to your other sister that day,,the one that was drunker than hell? lol Last I remember of her when we were all sitting in your jeep and she kept trying to get naked

When you really have to "keep trying" to get naked.
When you're sober, you can get that much right the first time!

Well Pit, if you saw what she looks like you would understand the trying part.....just no one wanted her to keep trying to get naked....

It was disgusting and embarrising to say the least. YUK!!!!! She is a sister that should never remove her clothes even in the dark.

On another note, Buddha and I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes as we take this journey with one another. Even though that day was rather a disappointment with the actions of the sister and the lose of the game, I feel very fortunate to have met all of those that were there. I am lucky to have met Buddha. As Atomic has already stated that Buddha professed his love for me, rest assured I share those feelings for him as well. Hmnn...well folks I am sure that as Buddha and I continue on this journey that Atomic or I will keep all posted. Again much thanks!

What is gameday like for a Steeler and Brown fan couple?

I couldn't imagine. My hubby isn't really a football fan, but I hate it when we watch games and he'll compliment other teams, especially the Steelers.

Those mixed relationships are difficult. Or, maybe it's that a female Browns fan and a male Steelers fan...been there, done that!!! *puke*

She lived it with Mom and Dad. Mom is a Browns fan and Dad is a Steeler fan. (my parents were both Browns Fans)

Really it's not all that bad. What happens is that he'll get overconfident before the game, while I'M the one who gets nervous. Steelers win (again), I feel silly for being nervous to begin with, and believe it or not he's a good sport about the loss.

where the hell should I start...Thanks Atomic for the thread and what you have written about BlondeSteeler and I....(if you haven't heard this enough already!!!!LOL) It was great hearing from CG and Pit......

You know i am usually a poster of few words but I do say Thanks to all who have posted for the congrats and support...
I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday and hopefully I will be keeping in touch with you folks.
Things are going well between BlondeSteeler and I. Although we will see after December 28...lol Seriously though, I have meet a wonderful wonderful person and the relationship grows everyday. We both feel very blessed for the chance of meeting on that faithful day of Atomic's birthday. The game well we say but to meet BlondeSteeler was a highlight to a rather rough day for the Browns.
Well that's it for now.
