Just went up to the Hush Puppy store in Aurora Premium Outlets and bought myself two pair of Merrills.. WOW,, You could have bowled me over with the confort and quality.. Great support as well. Two pair and some socks came to 160.00 with tax.. amazing.....

You gotta try these on to believe just how comfy they are...

yeah i heard the merrills are real comfortable.

just nobody say those ugly crocs. i know we are talkin comfortable, but i work at a hospital and thats all i see. i hate seeing a beautiful woman wearing those ugly things.

i know its about comfort for them and not what other people think. but i have some kind of fettish with women wearing sexy shoes, and the crocs just ruin it for me. hey i love sexy feet on a women, but im no toe sucker though.

There are most likely LOTS of women who will read that! And you probably just lost a shot with many of them.

I'm not in one of those careers that require me to be on my feet for long periods of time, but I think if I were, these would be the shoes to wear..

They are called merrell Jungle Mocs.. You can get them in a suede finish or a leather finish. The leather is a few bucks more. I paid what I think is a good price.. 64.99 a pair.. then I bought some socks and then tax, that's how I got to 160 for the whole thiing

I know you think the shoes are comfy and all.

But don't you think they kind of clash with that car in your sig.???

I on the other hand, have the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I've ever bought.

But they look cool.

I bought 2 pairs of Puma's earlier this year. First time I bought a pair, but I wanted something different. The one pair is very comfy. The other are exactly what I wanted, but they fit like it should be a woman's shoe. Really narrow, feels like my foot is smashed in, but I have toe room. I even bought a size up. I wear them anyways because I like how they look, but usually don't if I need to be in them for a long time. Like shopping yesterday..... what was I thinking? Had them on shopping for like 8 hours.

My feet were killing me.

Try on a pair of Joseph Seibels some time. Your feet will never forgive you for wearing anything else.

I have a pair of Nike Shox and I think they are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever had. I'm on my feet all day at work too so that is pretty important.

Hmmm, I'm in the market for a new pair of shoes...my leather slip ons are dying after six years and they are losing their cushion. I may have to try a pair...their website says they have them at Macys.

Michelle,, the reason I looked at the merrills was because my wife has about 4 pair of them and she swears by them.. I asked her if they made mens shoes and sure enough,, they did, so I had to try..,

If it means anything, my wife thinks they are terrific..

PIT,,,, I have no idea if they'll clash with my toy car... it's put away for the season and I'm not taking the cover off to find out...LOL

Every shoe is different. Shoes are all designed for a certain arch type, and gait cycle. Me, I have a flat foot, and underpronate, so I like the "cushioning shoes", where someone who overpronates might like the "stability shoes".

Shoes that I really like are the Mizuno Wave Creations, Asics Nimbus, and Adidas Supernova Cushions.

My Nike Shox rock, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Perfect fit too.

Been buying Merrils for years now. Got sold on them when my wife bought a pair, left an apricot in one which rotted. She returned them and they gave her a new pair. That was 16 years ago, they're a little rough looking now, but she still wears them.

I also like Raichle and Asolo.

I've noticed that most people in the medical field either wear crocs or shox. Or really any job which requires you to be on your feet for an extended period of time.

Theres just no way I would ever bring myself to wearing a pair of crocs. They have got to be the ugliest things in the history of footwear.

My shoes say, no scream "homeless bum!" Spend a little, spend alot, it doesn't seem to matter. My shoes don't get comfortable until they're all but worn out. BTW I wouldn't know an over/under pronate if it bit me in the foot.

The most comfortable pair of shoes that I ever wore I found at a Payless? or similar shoe store. I got 'em on clearance sale for 9 bucks because they were discontinued, and could never find them anywhere ever again...they were a HushPuppy brand as well....

What about steel toes? Or is that not possible?

I but the $30 Wal- Mart shoes and buy extra padded soles. They usually last about a year and a half.People at work by $70+ at the shop and they fall apart in 7 months.

Ive always felt that other peoples shoes were the most comfortable I bought a pair of Lebron V. They look really good but not the most comfort. I usually buy shoes a size bigger for comfort.

The most comfortable brand of dress shoes by far that I've ever experienced are Allen Edmonds. Been buying that brand for over a decade. They're expensive but they last many many many years and look and feel great.

$200 for a pair but will outlast four pairs for $50 bones a piece and look and feel so much better.

I got some Chucks. I got 4 different colors lol. White ones, and black ones obviously. Orange ones for my Browns gear, and blue ones for my UK gear. LOL.

Since I got them in June, I've been wearing a pair of blue Original Penguin slipons. Weapon of choice before that was either black low-top Chucks with black laces, or white and green Asics Onitsuka Tigers. I have a couple pairs of Kenneth Coles for when I have to play dress-up, and a pair of brown Pumas to wear to Browns games before it gets cold enough that I wear my boots. I'll probably grab a pair of Vans slipons in the near future. I've found them all to be quite comfy to me.

Funny how that works. I used to play a lot of pickup basketball and had to have Nikes. They cost a lot, were never all that comfortable, and usually took 3 or 4 wears to break in all the while killing my feet those first 3 or 4 times.

On a whim, bought a cheap pair of And 1s a few years back. By far, the most comfortable basketball shoe I'd ever worn, and they were about a quarter of the price of any Nikes I had bought.

Buy any pair 1/2 size too big. Then buy the biggest cushion insoul you can find.
Makes any shoe really comfortable
