Next year, when all signals are broadcast digital, will our view of the game(s) be improved over this year?
I didn't purchase the HD add on. (paying enough for the 'ticket' as it is)
It ticks me off when they announce 'And today's game being broadcast in stunning high definition' and I don't see it in HD.

That's a good question. Sending out a digital signal does not mean they have to send out an HD signal. Those using satellite have been receiving a digital signal all along, so the law had no effect on the satellite industry. Most cable companies (if not all by now) offer a digital set top box as well. So the only the effect is on the stations that have been sending out an analog signal that you can capture for free.

But when will everyone start sending out only an HD signal where it's no longer a premium offering, not sure but you can bet they'll milk it for all they can.

Vette, you hit on a soar subject for me.
I've been wondering the same question?
it burns me up that I pay them year round for HD/
and I pay them there hefty sunday ticket fee.
yet the greedy bastiches have the nerve to try and milk even more money to get the sunday ticket in HD

I can not tell you how much this pisses me off. I ve called and complained ,ive written email. when you lay it out that your already paying for both and get the person on the phone to agree yet they say tuff.

anybody hears of a way around this customer ripping scam please let me know

Digital and HD are 2 different things, although a digital signal picture is a little clearer than an analog, but since NFL ticket is Direct TV which is sending a digital signal, I don't htink you will see an improvement there without upgrading to the HD.

Anyone know if I can cancel Sunday Ticket and get a small refund for the last few weeks of the season?
