Oh, and I'll be racing tonight for anyone who is interested.
It's been a couple of weeks so I might be rusty.
I think I may stay in tonight, I havent played in a few weeks, what time will you be on? I finally unlocked my Mii driver too.

there are cheats for the wii bowling? lol
I don't mind a cheat code in a GTA style game so you can cause much carnage, but bowling? lol.

Well, Dyna finally talked me into connecting our Wii to the internet. She wants to bowl with friends elsewhere and I just couldn't say no. (now to figure out how to keep her from that silly "shopping channel". ) She's excited. Now she's bugging me for the Wii Fit. I'm in trouble......

Hmmmm, Im not sure this is correct. If it is I will be pretty excited, I have beem telling my buddy that if you could bowl online that would be fun, like an online bowling league.

She says it's a different game. Not the Wii sports bowling. But something else. I'll try it out tonight and see if I can figure it out. lol She's really REALLY into that bowling.

So apparently the Wii Bowling game we got doesn't go via the net either. Dyna swore up and down it did. lol. But she's out of luck.
I just ordered the Wii Fit from the internet for her birthday though. So she should be fairly happy with that. Now to see if I can find that Mario Kart game somewhere.....

MK Wii comes with one wheel, but be sure to pick up another. It's just more fun to race holding the little steering wheel. I'm almost tempted to say it's the BEST GAME EVER. Sure, it has some issues, but really, a VERY good game overall.

It reallyis one of the best games ever. I had never played it prior to the Wii. Have always been a sports gamer and first person shooter gamer. My buddy said he had and was gonna bring it over. I told him dont bother, not interested.
Now im addicted to it, just a really fun game.

I've had different Mario Kart games...for DS and SNES, but I was never really a fan either. But, the reviews of this one made me buy it and I'll never regret that decision. My favorite racing game ever was Diddy Kong racing for SNES. Flying planes was FUN!

I hated racing games before this one. I do love this game, it's a blast and it doesn't get old....at least it hasn't yet, and we've had it for quite a while.

Gotta go get MK...I've been looking on ebay for a good deal, but people are stupid and paying too much for it. Gotta hope Target still has one or two of 'em (they did a couple weeks ago but I didn't have the cash at the time).

Well, sadly the bowling game she thought would let her bowl online doesn't. So now she's irritated. (it's kinda funny how she threw a tantrum....).
I bought her the Wii Fit last night online which is cool. Even got it at the normal retail price ($89 I think). Still can't find MK at a decent price. But I will soon I hope, cause now you have me wanting to try it out. lol

Don't be suckered by the seeming good deals on ebay for Mario Kart. They aren't really that good. The game (which comes with one steering wheel) is about $50 and if you wanted a second wheel, you can get those at Target for $10. So that's a total of $60 and people are paying $75 to get the same thing on ebay.

I couldn't find Mario Kart for a while either, but finally found one on www.gamestop.com on Sunday. I just got it yesterday, but I haven't played it yet. I've been playing a lot of Tiger Woods 09 lately...

I have gotten pretty good at putting. All of my skills are at 100% now, so that makes a big difference. The hardest thing I think is chipping. My loft wedge says it goes 84 yds, but even when I do 75-80% it goes over 84 yards. You actually have to try to go well below what you are trying to get on the chips...

Got a Wii today!
Didn't plan on buying one. My wife mentioned last month she would like the Wii Fit to work out with. We just stopped at Toys R Us for a Bday gift and saw a sign saying they had Wii's in stock.
So we bought one, even though they didn't have the Wii Fit. Played a little Wii Sports. I enjoyed it since I got to play with my wife and kid. I'll just have to look around and find Wii Fit somewhere.

I got my Wii Fit from http://www.newegg.com . Even got it for the MSRP. ($89 btw). We got it 2 days ago, Dyna loves it, and she says it helps with me following along with her. (Gotta say it's cute watching her do the Hula Hoop excercise. heh). Overall, i like the Wii better than any of the other consoles i've owned. Congrats.

I've had a PS3, and there's 2 games coming out this month I've been dying to get my hands on. So I'll see here what I'll be playing.
I probably won't buy too many games for it, just stuff that I can enjoy with my wife or daughter. It's more fun with others. Glad we picked on up though.

Thanks for the tip Keys, but we ended up finding the Wii Fit in stock at Best Buy. My wife hasn't tried it out. I hear mixed reviews about it, but as long as she uses it, than I guess that's what counts.

I used the Wii fit for the first time last night, and I liked it a lot! I'm looking forward to using it more.
I kicked butt at the hula hoop.

LOL, yeah, I tried it last night for the first time as well. Did the Hula Hoop 3 times and unlocked the Super Hula Hoop, then ran a couple laps. I didn't do very well with the stepping..... not that it seemed like it would give much of a workout anyways.

the wii fit is not a bad game, but you are not going to get in shape with it, but it is worth it for the balance. board. Try Shaun white snowboarding with the balance board as your snow board. Challenging and fun.

Well, you'll get into better shape than you were prior to using it. While the games I did try didn't cause me to sweat my butt off, it did get my pulse up, get me breathing a little heavier, and get me moving more than usual.
I haven't had much of any exercise since I quit going to the gym in 2001. So it is more work than sitting on the couch or walking around the house.

Yeah, I don't know of anyone that feels that they'd get into tip top shape just doing the wii fit. But like 17 said, it's more than just sitting around doing nothing.
I for one am looking forward to doing the yoga. I am ridiculously not flexible, so I have to think that would help. And, there's nothing wrong with doing some pushups and situps like the game has you do.
But, no, I don't think the wii fit is training me for a marathon or anything like that.

Yeah, exactly. You'll get into some decent shape, but you won't be joining the Olympic team anytime soon.
The jogging in place was kind of cool. Simple, as you can do it without the Wii, but it at least gives you some sort of motivation to do it. I was going to start jogging for my NY resolution, but I only went out for a week or so before the weather turned. I haven't been out since. So, if this can get my heart rate up some and eventually help me lose a pound or 2, then it did it's job.

Yep, exactly. Plus, I like how it has the little calendar as well as the goal setting mechanism. That helps a lot because it's an easy way to keep track of your progress.
