You should have waited to sign and we could have signed you to our Pee Wee league team. You could have got a better contract. You are stuck with the CPU owned D league for rest of season now. For the LB concentrate on speed,agility, and stamina for now. Tacking is overated as a training stat.
I am not real sure about the WR, I have never developed one.
Keep us posted on your progress, especially towards the end of the season so somebody can sign you to a appropriate team next season.

It's ok, I don't mind D League since I'm just learning. Will let you know how it goes.
Is there any particular strategy to boosting ? I wound up forking over some cash so have some FP to spend. But I don't know if I want to boost or create more players.

The consensus seems to be that you should wait till end of season to boost, because of the fact that you get XP at a faster rate the lower the level you are at. That is why I told you I created two players on same day. Lardo AZZ and Bluto Brown. Both play for the same team(Frenchys Pee Wee League entry) I boosted Lardo but didnt Bluto. Right now, halfway through season Bluto is only one level below Lardo even though he started out 3 below. That is because Bluto gains XP points at a faster rate than Lardo.

"d" league players (cpu teams) can still be signed to human owned teams.
There is a breakdown of when the best time to boost is, I have it on one of the forums I'm on.

You are right, I was thinking of human teams where you have to ak for your release before another team could sign you.
I am not sure but I think some of our bench players are CPU players. Frenchy,sign her up??

I believe Day 29 is the suggested time to boost, but I could be wrong.
For LB's it's best to softcap speed and agility ASAP...same for WR's, with attention paid to catching...stamina is a must for every position.
Agility is more important to a blitzing LB than speed IMO...very rarely will your guy get a straight-line shot at a QB. Vision is also key.
The idea is to get to a natural 48 ASAP in order to get the most out of the natural levelling. I just started a project player who because of patience and proper building has 50 speed at level 4.
I'd recommend not spending any SP's at first - it's quicker to train low numbers, so get them up as high as you can before dumping off SP's to hit the caps. Train speed until you get it up there, then start dumping the points in while training agility....etc., etc., etc.

Since regular season is over I just made a CB for peewee next season. But now I'm wondering if I should have waited until next season started to do this. I know players are only good for 10 seasons, so does it waste a whole season to create him now ? Should I retire him and create another one when the season starts ?

I would think that the 10 seasons will start at your create date, not the beginning of the season (I'd hope so). Personally I'm not sure he'll go through with the 10 season thing. That's a lot of recycled flex points that won't be coming in.

I have a level 29 SS who's contract expires here on day 40..... thought I was getting resigned, but guess not. Lemme know if interested.

Owner is a friend of mine from Cali who is currently attending the ranger acadamy Only had the team for 2 seasons and we made the playoffs twice. This last season the coordinators both went awol. We might need another SS as the only one we have goes inactive for long periods of time. If your doing peewee again I can make a few players. Got plenty of flex sitting around.

It wasn't purposeful. I was going to, but didn't have enough money to sell it a repurchase it since the one set I bought, the owner wouldn't give me an allowance for.

Frenchys team was a Pee Wee team, it is for lvl 3 and lower. Basically it is for your first season only. JRMOOK is getting a team for this season, most of us from our pee wee team are going to move to his new team.

Actually all 4 of my players are FA's. I was going to put them all on JRmooks team. Let me get ahold of him and see what is going on. Haviland Steve is a LVL20 LB with outstanding speed. I will get back to you soon.
