what makes your opinion any better than the next guys? I usually dont post much cause if i dont agree with what everyone else is saying i get bashed, but you need to realize that you are not the know-it-all around here. no one here is, and let people speak their minds and stop trying to prove that you are so much better and more in the know than everyone here.
in the end we are all browns fans...but just cause guy "A" dosnt agree with guy "B" doesnt mean that all of guy "A"s buddies need to jump on guy "B" and tell him how dumb or stuipid his idea or thought is. You can come back and talk smack all you want but you as well as most of the posters around here know this is true!
If you feel the need to be the alpha poster here then you really need to get a life man....

I like the idea of steamlining it and making each person responsible for their respective duties.( makes it harder to pass the buck ) It's far better than having too many chiefs and not enough Indians IMO.

Isn't it possible that Lerner tole McCreight that he wasn't going to be the GM, and McCreight decided that he wasn't going to work here any more?
Sometimes the cloak and dagger stuff really blows my mind. lol I know that there is stuff going on behind the scenes ...... and most likely the Browns and Kokinis have agreed on 95% of the contract details, and are just waiting to formalize the rest.

I would also add that it's entirely likely that his contract is being reviewed by the league to ensure that it meets the Ravens stated requirements for him to leave their organization. (final say on personnel, and any others we might not be aware of)

There's a lot of possible scenarios YTown. I doubt anybody knows. I was just taking off on a point that people tried to portray as a bad one.
And I just see it as business. No matter wheather he quit, was fired, or whatever the circumstances were. It happens every day in corperations across this country.
I just don't see the big deal no matter how it went down.

Either Mr.Lerner,in his role as absentee owner,allowed the org.to become too bloated and these cutbacks are warranted,or Mangini and Kokinis are establishing thier own little fiefdom.
It sucks for those invovled either way.

Hey maybe Fletch just wants to be one of the 'in" crowd. Daman is upeat with Diam for doing something that Daman has done himself in the past. I recall him ganging up on me with someone else about Phil Dawson about a year ago. Funny how now that he is one the other side he is upset. You would think he could handle Diam's tender approach by now.
I also believe we are behind, but not in such a way that it is a dire situation, and I don't think that's what Diam meant either. Heck I bet the teams in the Superbowl get a little behind this time of year too with all the preparation for the big game consuming much of the staff.
While I agree with Diam, I would have to believe that their is more going on behind the scenes as far as this is concerned then we know.

I just think you are being somewhat of an alarmist here. We kept McCreight this past week for a reason IMO. He did his work and the bases were covered in that respect. Now if it goes past this coming week, then I'll be far more inclined to agree with you. But as of now, McCreight got paid to go there and do the job you seem so concerned about.
So I think at this stage, you're being more of an alarmist than a realist. The sky isn't falling "yet".
Besides, if we didn't take shots at each other on occasion, where would the fun be in that?

If we as posters think the front office or coach gives a big flying fart what we think then we are the dupes. I am sure Mangini, while he is painting the walls at Berea is thinking, I sure wonder what the people on the message boards think of what is going on here. Same thing with the owner. The only time they care is when it comes time to fill the seats or sell merchandise. They know we love the team, maybe not the owner or coach, but we still now and will always love the Browns as trying as it is most of the time. Just my thoughts though.

Oh contraire...... Face it Diam, IF we land Coke, he is a great FA talent evaluator. And we both know that anything past round three is a crapshoot. And even in round 3, it's pretty close. So you're basicly saying that Coke can't evaluate FA's and we can't bring in scouting to evaluate talent between now and April?
And that we aren't going to hire any scouts with "experience" that aren't already out there scouting now? Sure sounds like it. Either that, or it's just overhyped drama on your part. Either way, it's pretty comical....

Thats an outright fabrication...btw you know he sold his company in 2006 - smart move actually. But has spent a lot more time with the Browns since then and has taken an active role. I'm sorry but Savage and RAC just got fired by who??? Oh it must of been an absantee firing 
Randy, doesn't like the spot light and avoids the media at all cost. That doesn't make him absentee...that makes him "PRIVATE"
As for the rest...secret, not so secret...firing TJ Mac. Painting the walls...yeah those dolts. Mangini, Daboll and Ryan all three in overalls and rollers painting the walls of Berea...didn't they have better things to do.

I could have sworn you posted not too long ago that Randy lives out on the island near you,500 miles from Cleveland.That,by definition,makes him an absentee owner.
You do not consider painting over the mural to be of great importance.You don't seem to mind the firing of 40 people.I on the otherhand see these things as contuation of the horse crap way this org.has operated since the return.
But,hey if they produce a winner it's all good.
Except for maybe those 40 people,thier family and friends.And those very few left that actually care how others are treated.
