Same here with breakfast. I have always tried to eat healthy and 4-5 meals a day....but breakfast would be a tough meal for me. I'm usually running late to work so I'd have to grab a bagel or egg sandwich at a place during my walk into the office (or just eat a protein bar).

Since I've started the program, I eat 4-5 egg whites, 2 whole wheat waffles with peanut butter and a protein shake EVERY morning. I feel so much better starting my day off right.

It's a lot of food....but your body needs it with all the work it's getting.

devil - are there any particular adjustable dumbbells you'd recommend? I stopped by Dick's today and they had some bowflex ones that were $400, which seemed a bit expensive.

But hopping over to Amazon showed many prices in the same ballpark.

Here's what I found at Dick's in the store: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3311729

I could care less about brand new, just as long as they are quality.

Here's what Dick's online store has: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=2623795&sr=1&origkw=dumbbells

And what Amazon had: http://tinyurl.com/c8w28o

I don't have the space right now to store a huge rack of individual dumbbells, so hoping to get one of these adjustable ones.

I own a pair of Power Blocks. I went with the Power Blocks because I had the option of adding on weight.

My dumbbells go up to 130 lbs and I use the largest dumbbell in my arsenal for a move in this program called "lawnmowers." I'm used to handling heavy weights and that hasn't changed with this program.

You will have to scale back the amount you use to a certain degree. The Bowflex DB's just aren't enough weight for me.

You can't go wrong with the BowFlex dumbbells though from what I understand.

Me think's that the wife is going to get this for me (late Xmas gift). I am looking forward to trimming down this 260 Lb. fat body to about 190 Lb's of a lean love machine.....

Mike...this program will do it. You'll be amazed.

What do you think of that one devil?

Best price I have found online and Dick's has them for $300 and includes a stand.

My only concern is how much weight I'll need on this program to do my exercises. I do a twice a week, heavy workout now, but only push over 50lbs on a few exercises.

Just hate to buy something to find out it's not enough.

I've seen those in person and I did NOT like them. I'd find a store and try the ones you linked before you buy them. Some of those block systems rattle and shift a lot. The Bowflex ones seem like the best (I know, they're overpriced too). People swear by the PowerBlock ones too.

I thought 50 was enough for me when I started too but I'm using 70's on lawnmowers now. I'll be needing more soon.

I guess I'm lucky. I have a workout room in my building. We have dumbbells from 3 to 70. Not bad. I'd probably buy the Bowflex or PowerBlock ones if we moved to the burbs.

General question to all: I have a cold. I have a sore throat and I'm sure a running nose is right around the corner. Do I continue to push myself or just take a break? I think I'll try to stay on pace. I'm starting the 3rd month and I'm excited to see my progress. I'm just worried I'll feel fatigued and not get the most out of my workout.

Thanks punch!! I need as much feedback as I can get on these b/c I've never used these block style dumbbells. I don't have the room @ home to get a full set like a gym, so need to find a compromise.

If you're well enough to go to work, you're well enough to work out. That's always been my "motto". You might feel crappy and not be able to do as much weight but taking time off hinders your growth. Scale back on the weights and intensity but still give it a go. If you feel like you aren;t going to make it, put the weights down and go home. Just that simple to me. Don't forget to get some vitamin C and whatnot and you should be fine. Being fit does help keep colds away(at least for me) for what its worth.
