That's awesome. My buddy is #67 on the line when Lebron is blocking the FG about 18 seconds into it...

I almost shed a tear when I saw the confetti and Lebron wearing a shirt that said "champions."

I dunno whether I love the commercial cuz it's about the Browns or hate it because it will never in a million years happen?

I'm all ticked off again. Jim Rome was running his mouth yesterday, saying that Lebron is gone in 2010. - Of course, Rome works for ESPN, and we all know that ESPN wants to soak everything it can out of Lebron.

article about it here on Yahoo! Sports

Quote:

James said he had input into the commercial, which shows using some of his basketball skills to help the Browns on the football field.

“I chose what team I wanted to wear, what I wanted to do and which routes I wanted to run,” he said.

James has been criticized by Cleveland fans for supporting the Cowboys and New York Yankees. He triggered a public outcry when he wore a Yankees cap to an Indians playoff game two years ago and again to a Browns home game against Dallas last season .

So was it tough pulling on an orange Browns helmet and not one with a star on it?

“No,” James said with a wink. “I love the Browns.”

Not a bad PR move by 'Bron. Even if it is with a wink.

Awesome commercial. Simply awesome.

I do prefer that BronBron sticks with the Cavs, however.

I picked up my copy of GQ today.

I'd sign him just to block kicks.

Then again, our defense don't stop many drives that result in FG's,....

Yeah I saw that a few days ago on Hulu.. Pretty good commercial. Though I have no clue what it has to do with insurance.

Yeah, we know he's a Cowboys fan...

But he did say this:

Think it would be a wise move to get a #23 LeBron Browns jersey?

EDIT: Anyone know the cheapest place for one? I don't wanna pay $100 for it.

As far as the wink goes.....most athletes would probably don any local and/or related uniform for the endorsement deal.

It's all about the money.

Not sure how a basketball player in a football uniform relates to selling insurance.....and like most commercials now that I've seen it once I will be clicking the remote to bypass it. The only "good" commercials right now are the Coors Light HC press conference commercials.

I don't know what you're laughing about. The hilarity factor of owning such an item, or me looking for a cheaper price? Please clarify.

The fact that most people bemoan buying jerseys with player's names on them since they jump from team to team or fail.....and now you want a football jersey with a basketball player's name on it......and he may leave town.

Yup. Two words: personalized jersey. That's the only way to go.

A hit with who???? Who do you desire to impress?

As said above.....personalized.

But the choice is yours. I just found it comical and posted as such. It's up to you to decide whether or not to get one.

Don't remember who it was now, but saw a Head Coach announcement interview, where the coach said, "I'm just trying to get through this interview without giving them any clips to make a Coors Light commercial from." or something like that.

It was Jim Caldwell from the Colts...

"I have one goal today," the Indianapolis Colts' 17th head coach said, "and that's just to make sure my first press conference isn't immortalized in one of those beer commercials."

hehe, yeah if LBJ leaves (I hope this never happens,,but,,) then Ammo is gonna want to light that thing on fire.
That is why the next jersey I am going to purchase is a personalized #57 Clay Matthews home jersey!!
I know he isn't gonna jump ship How cool would it be if his son signed here and took pop's old number? Then I would be really safe with that jersey That would be so cool to have father/son play here.

If someone would give me a free Lebron Browns jersey, I'd wear it, it would amuse me. I like irony.
