nothing yet... I'm still working on coding some other stuff.
Lotsa other things have been getting in the way lately, but I'm hoping to devote a good deal of time tomorrow, Wednesday & Friday to finally getting all of this enabled on here.

Just a quick update.... I got most of the coding done today to get Donations up and going, including the ability turn off Ads if you've donated > $10 within the last one year (365 days). There are only a few things left in terms of handling notifications from PayPal left to do, then I need to run through some tests. After that, it'll be ready to go "Live".
Everyone should now have a Disabled "Hide Ads" button in their Profile. Once donations are live, if you visit that page and have donated $10 or more in the last year, that will auto-activate.
The CafePress store is set up and ready to roll, I just need to get some High Quality images going. Simple, homemade .jpg's aren't going to work, we need large, high quality png's.
I'll add links to things as they are completed as ready to roll.

They're all essentially the same with a few tweaks. I wanted to work with the "main logo" first. We can always add other designs that incorporate "We gotta get this guy!", "Take it to the shack" [like above] or "I'm a Hall of Famer on...". If you want a more flashy design, I can dump this and start over. Hopefully more people will submit ideas.
I didn't upload a design with a dog sitting at a computer, because I think it makes us look like a site that talks about dogs.
And plus, some people on here don't like the dawg or Brownie logo's. So I wanted to create the most basic design possible.

Well, the only picture I have with you two in it....you're both naked. I wasn't sure if you guys were confortable with that being the official logo of DawgTalkers.net. I assumed no.
....of course I don't have a naked picture of GM and Shotty. So don't ask for me to send it to you. And even if I did, I would have deleted the file from my computer, burned it, buried it and then gutted a pig to replace the memory.

The redirection issue should be completely resolved now. Everything looks to have gotten credited just fine, both of you should have the ability to turn off Ads should you so desire.

I also fooled around with an alternate logo of my own... here's the "Take it to the shack" with it.
Purp~Worked perfectly for me. Thanks! I was surprised that it all was able to keep me connected to my donation since my email address and username here are very different than what I use at PayPal.

In the process of fixing that, I was able to correct it to how it should have been done in the first place... so those ads will now be the 2nd post on each page of every thread.

I'd still like to see a donation counter...just because I'm curious if we have a bunch of deadbeats around here.
I'll be the first to admit I'm a "deadbeat" right now. Wish it weren't so, but Jan. and Feb. are always my slow times. Add in that last year I was personally down over $15,000 in income, and add in that Feb. looks like it will be the slowest month I've ever had, and yeah, I"m a deadbeat. A $10 donation isn't much......... I know........

I'm not too lazy to get the plastic. However, my wife and I decided last month no more plastic - for anything. Unless it is an emergency where someone is bleeding.
No plastic for gas. No plastic for eating out. Our card is paid off (that's a long story. But I'll shorten it up: the bank raised our rate to 30.99% because I was late with a payment 2 times in the last year. So I called them, explained that the first time I was late was because the bill came late - only giving me about 2 days to get the check in the mail. The second time I was late was simply my screw up. Plus, I told them, I had been with them for over 15 years, and I couldn't believe they would let me go - I told them if they couldn't bring the rate down to the 10.99% I had before - well, if they couldn't do that, then fine, we won't use the card anymore)
They didn't drop the rate. We don't use it anymore. I took the money out of savings, paid it off, and we're done with it, although I didn't cancel it. We have a $18.95 charge every month for a service we use - so we left it at that. Every month I will get a bill for that amount. That keeps the card active and in use.
Oh I never use the plastic for stuff like gas or eating out.
If I don't have the cash to eat out, then we're eating in.
We used it today. Normally I hate doing it, but we were shopping for a b-day gift at Toys R Us and saw they had Wii's in stock. My wife wanted the Wii Fit, which they didn't have, but knowing Wii's are tought to find we picked it up. Charged it, but we'll pay it when we get our taxes back.
I only use my credit card for things like buying tickets online, booking hotel/vacation, and once in a while during xmas shopping if I'm out of cash and at the mall, I'll use it for a gift or 2.
Can't say my wife does the same. I yell at her all the time to not use it. She doesn't understand the concept of "if you don't have the money for it, you don't need it."
