J/C If we get rid of DA whos the backup? A backup like Dorsey is a complete waste. No TDs in what? 5 or 6 games? What does a decent backup cost and where do we find this backup? I wouldn't be in any rush to dump DA until we've answered these Qs.

Well, in a perfect world, that would be nice.....unfortunately for us, we have to many needs, not to mention a QB controversy just waiting to happen, to keep both DA and BQ...and while they both have their pro's and con's, IMO we could be successful with either one of them.....but DA will probably get us more bang for our buck, so I say trade him......let's get us some more draft picks......or players.......

I think everyone pretty much knows that "Quinn is in in 2009"
We really know nothing about the new powers that be regarding their thoughts on the QB position.
The might prefer one guy or the other ....... might not know yet ..... or might think that neither guy is the right fit.
None of the "Savage-Crennel" thinking and/or edicts apply anymore. Hell, the new guys might decide that Warner or McNabb is the right solution and trade both Quinn and Anderson. Who knows?
This is all true but keep in mind our new GM was part of the braintrust that tried to move up and take Quinn before we jumped in...

I didn't know that... but be that as it may, that was a different time and a different OC in Baltimore and perhaps different thinking to what Mangini and our New OC want to accomplish.
And as Koks has said, he's gonna find out what the coach wants and go find it for him.
While I just think (can't prove it) that quinn will most likely be the starter for us and that Anderson will be traded for whatever we can get, there is no way to be certain. not yet anyway.
One other thing to remember, Koks was part of the scouting and management team that drafted Anderson... so is there something there to consider? Dunno!

It's alittle bit different picking someone in the 6th rd. and trying to sneak him unto the PS than trying to move up in the 1st and trying to pick someone...Just something to consider...

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
