The main problems with our lines has ALWAYS been the Guards (except in '07 when we had Tuck in there). If the middle 3 aren't solid, it doesn't matter what you've got at tackle... the rush will just come right up the gut. A weak guard affects two adjacent players. A weak tackle affects only one adjacent player.
I checked out about 15 snaps of the pro bowl, only to see Joe Thomas look very much like a one trick pony, he only had one move, turn run for with your back to the line of scrimmage, and reach out and turn the defender at the last second before he reaches the quarterback. It appeared very ineffective. I hope JT will get some solid play in the future. The move looked almost like a collar and elbow tie up as he'd twist the rusher at the last second, it resulted in one Qb fumble and several times I thought it looked like a hold, there wasn't any kind of time, less than 3 seconds, and eventually the Qb was stepping up in the pocket prematurely from apparently losing confidence in his back side protection. I want to see Joe Thomas be the best in the business.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

[quite]I checked out about 15 snaps
If you want to learn try taping every game, and watching it back in slow motion (break down the game tape) don't just give a quick look at a few plays.
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.
