I know throughout the past there have been numerous remarks about Drennan's sucktitude. Well now we can keep them all here in one nice cozy thread to keep the board clutterfree.
This guy is a joker and needs designated for assignment. The only thing he knows with any accuracy are historical baseball facts. He can't go into deep strategy on any sport. He gets his facts wrong all of the time. He talks loud and cuts off callers that are smarter than him. I am sick of this jerkball. Its like Diamdawg having his own tv show. Its also funny when you hear him refer to his days in jail with "the brothers" . Like he was in jail with hardcore criminals. He was in jail with a bunch of whitecollar crminals. If he had to really go in jail with "the brothers" he would have gotten a beat down.
If STO doesn't fire this guy I am going to shut that network down. If you are reading this Bruce I challenge you to a steelcage no holds varred showdown.
On another note why is the clevalnd media such garbage.. Trivisano is worthless. Grossi is a sh&tstirrer. Livingston and Shaw are so damn negative about everything on Cleveland sports whether it warrnats it or not. I am not asking for fluff pieces just responsible pieces of journalism. That are thought provoking.
And if these hacks think that controversey creates more webhits sells more papers or gets more listeners they are dead wrong. I turn the damn things off. Its sickening all of those clowns have jobs.

I don't listen to or watch anybody except for Rizzo. I may not agree with everything he says but he is funny as hell. Can't stand hammer though.
I lied, I do listen to Trivisonno on my way home from work everyday, not for sports, but just like his style. He tells it like it is and isn't afraid to say it. I also may not agree with everything he says, but it 's entertaining to me at least.
How in the world can you fix something... If you don't know how it's supposed to work?

Everyone has an opinion, I don't share yours of Drennan.. he's arrogant, he's annoying, but he does indeed know his facts.. and yeah, he doesn't suffer fools well....

And you're better? I actually get a kick out of Bruce. He's loud but he's funny and while he may not be smart enough for you he knows enough to suit most of his listeners. I rarely see him cut off a caller that knows what he's talking about. Most of the guys that get the short end of the stick are either rambling on and on or just don't have a clue. Triv is a caricature of himself. But I doubt even he believes what he's saying most of the time. But to be fair I wouldn't really know about him as much because I stopped listening to Triv years ago. Grossi is a good writer. A lot of guys on this board hate him when he writes something less than flattering about the Browns. Then they'll turn around and rave about him when he says something good. Typical fans really. The guy's always dumb if he's disagreeing with you...... And, no, what you (and most on here) really want are articles that promote the Browns and agree with what you think. Thought provoking? Really? On a sports page? C'mon, as soon as that happens, as with the steroid era in baseball articles, all you hear is "Why can't we get back to the games?".

Unless its baseball history he doesn't bring anything to the table. He only knows what his lapdog Gene looks up on the internet. For being on televeision you would think that fool would be better prepared. Yeah there are morons that know less than him and he tells them off. But he does it in such an overexagerrated way. With his heavy sighs, taking off his glasses and rubbing his eyes. Who does this bozo think he is.

Yeah Grossi is a real good writer. His garbage saying Cleveland should have taken Kurt Warner in the expansion draft and implying he would have had the same type of career. Leading the negativity charge on this new regime when they haven't had the team play a few games. Its ok to bring up doubts about the regime. But they don't present both sides of the coin. All Grossi does is play monday morning qb. Its easy to say the things he says. Hindsight is always 20/20

All the more reason why Ammo deserves his own sports talk show.
And I probably come at a lower cost than Bruce too.

He's talking about himself in the third person again. DeepThreat would love a DiamDawg talk show. It would be quite entertaining.

Wow buddy, I respect your opinion because everyone is entiled to one, but I strongly disagree with you. I happen to watch Drennan's show close to everyday and I dont see the his "sucktitude" attiude as you so colorfuly speak about.
All I know is the guy love Cleveland, the Indians, Browns, Cavs, stayed up once and had a post game Indians show at 2:00AM. And to say he doesn't know his facts about sports stuff, now that is dead wrong, most of the time he had unlimited knowledge about everything he talks about.
Like I said before, I strongly disagree with you. If you don't support bruce or STO you don't have to watch it.

The guy doesn't love Cleveland he is very phony. He is a Chicago guy. Ever listen to the guy talk football. Its rather funny because its shocking that someone with that limited knowledge is on the air. Baseball history the guy knows his stuff. Current baseball he is ok. Everything else completely idiotic.

I never even called that joker. Its a scam anyway he only lets one or two people new on a week. Its the same people everytime. They get in because they agree with him, or they have less knowledge than him so it makes him look smart in comparison.

I think you are wrong. I think the reason you have only 2 new callers a week is because his total audience is about 100. My son watches him on occasion. When I catch him I take off my belt and whack him with it. My general belief is that there is no reason ever to hit kids. Watching Bruce is an exception.

I called him a few times. One was about the bcs. he didn't even know the process on how they pick the teams for the bcs games. he didn't know there was a rotation. I had to tell him how the process worked.
In the fall he was pimping ben sheets hard for the indians to go after. he said we should give him $18 million a year. what we offered CC. I called him up to disagree, and said sheets never won more than 12 games in a year, and was too much money to invest in a injury-prone pitcher. he said sheets was injury-prone but the 2nd best pitcher in free agency after CC. He also said Sheets was on bad teams. I said Cliff Lee won 22 games on a bad team, and he proceeded to hang up. he then mocked me on the next show. last time I looked Sheets is unsigned and out for the 09 season. what a pick-up that would've been.
All I know is Brennan is a clown. he is overrated, and uses softball callers to make him look smart. how many times do i need to hear him say he is going on vacation.?? he once said oklahoma sooners could beat the browns. the same sooners that lost 2 college games.
I havn't watched him since january. Given the opportunity, I know I would do better than him. not even close. he doesn't have a clue about football x's and o's in the general sense.

I have good news for you Joe,,,, you won't have to listen to Drennan anymore..
There is this thing on your TV... It's called the OFF BUTTON... there is also these other things called CHANNELS that have things other than Drennan on them..
I suggest that you either turn the TV off or change the channel.
See how simple that was.... Isn't that better than expressing your opinion, asking if others agree and getting upset when some don't.
Makes perfect sense to me.

I've got a story about Reghi actually. One of my buddies (in the infamous photo everyone's talking about in the photo thread) went to Miami to visit his girlfriend. Who did he see at one of the bars? None other than Michael Reghi (calling the MAC basketball game) and Wally Sczerbiak (who was there for his jersey retirement or something).
He goes up to Reghi and says to him "You got jobbed when they replaced you with Fred McLeod. You raised me on Cavaliers basketball! I'm buying you a shot!"
"Thank you, that means a lot." Reghi says.
Reg was ripping shots left and right and making out with his wife/girlfriend in front of everyone in the bar, according to him.
He also said Wally was kind of a douche. But then again, Miami students and alumni (not counting my parents) are kind of like that.

Thats funny because my family and I went to the Kent State Girls B ball game against Miami yesterday and I said the same thing to my wife about the Miami crowd that was there. They were real nasty and belligerent.
Of course the fact that we whooped their behinds didnt help the situation

yeah, i enjoy reghi's show, i'm glad he got the spot on wknr. he deserves it, he's a great cleveland personality and seems to have a good grip on things.
i usually can catch the last part of his show, sometimes he goes past 5 local time here (not sure of how they schedule) so i can hear him or roda...
i just wish i could hear more of rizzo, i usually only get to hear the clips in their audio vault. they need to podcast the whole show.

I got news for you buddy. There is this thing on your computer called a mouse. You can click on different threads if you don't like one. For your info my compadre I don't watch Bruce a whole lot. When I do he irritates the hell out of me so I tune him out for a week or so. I am Cleveland sports fan so I do like to hear some qulaity sports talk and analysis. To bad I can't get it from the nimrods who are so called journalists in Cleveland..
I hope someone from the Cleveland media is reading this. Step up and reveal yourself and I will thrash you in a debate.

Drennan is full of himself and thinks he knows a lot more than he really knows. Not to mention his sources are garbage.
However, every once and a while, he'll surprise you and make a good point on either baseball or basketball. Unfortunately for him, it's usually a point made by one of his callers then takes credit for himself.
you had a good run Hank.

I think he was the dude i saw on there the other day and while he seemed to be a nice guy i didn't care much for his football thinking. He said that the Browns should take the RB Wells at 5 and he also thought Laurinaitis would be a good 3-4 OLB for the Browns if they traded down, not an ILB but an OLB.

That Laurinaitis would be a good 3-4 OLB? Laurinaitis is a flow to the ball LB like DQ he isn't a pass rusher.

Not a big fan of the BSK as far as sports talk, but he is a nice guy. He gave me and my friends up front pavillion seats to the Jim Rome tour stop waaaay back in the day (we had lawn seats before). We stopped at a gas station on the way to Blossom and he was in there and started talking to us and hooked us up.

Well there a few QB's out there who may disagree with that ,but you are right in that he is not a edge rusher. He is however an outstanding pass coverage LB. Yeah come to think of it he would be a good OLB in a 4-3 but not a 3-4.

Joe88,if Iam wrong, but does the 88 in your name suggest the year you were born? If so, that makes you either 20 or 21 years of age. If not,oh well,it was a guess. Anyhow, for someone that hates Bruce Drennan so much, you have studied him quite alot. Something about him draws you to watch him. Like him or dislike him, wherever Bruce has worked,he's drawn a good sized audience. Bruce Drennan is as real as they come. He's a pro's pro. I remember years ago when he was doing a call in TV show on a local Akron/Canton station called "the Cat". Low budget set,no frills....Bruce was still a professional about it. And Bruce unlike some jerks like Kevin Keane(glad WTAM kicked his *** to the curb) let his callers get their points and views in. I've been able to engage in many conversations with Drennan whether it was at a Browns draft party,ot local eatery...a total gentlemen and very congenial. He even picked up my dinner at Fishers Pub in Peninsula. Drennan realizes his fans helped get him where he's at. He never thinks he is above them. Bruce's past with gambling and such he doesn't sugarcoat. He's honest about it. I wish I could say that about a certain afternoon host on WTAM's son. If you hate Drennan, watch the Antiques Roadshow.
